I enjoyed this smaller bag of seed as it was easier to move than the larger ones. I would recommend to anyone who wants to feed finches and other small birds
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nyjer seed AKA thistle is a favorite at my tube feeders. All the house and gold finches flock to the feeders when I fill them with Nyjer. I enjoy watching them flutter about. Fresh and the birds told me it's tasty.

It is designed for birds with a specific type of beak so it's easier for them to eat this seed rather than some others. It's definitely affordable and I would recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Both my mother and my grandmother used Nyjer seed to attract finches and other small birds to their outdoor feeder. I just recently moved into a new house and one of the first things I wanted to do to make it feel like home was to get some birdseed. This Kaytee seed exceeded all expectations! I had beautiful birds coming to my feeder within a few days. Will definitely be buying again!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've realized almost all my local wild birds are finches, and when I found out that nyjer/thistle is their favorite seed, I had to get some! When I filled the thistle feeder I was worried at first they'd have trouble finding it in the small holes... I hung it in a tree near other trees the birds like to hang out in. It took a couple of days, but they found it and now they power through it! I was amazed that in 3 days half the feeder is empty. Some has fallen on the floor but they've eaten a lot of it, too! So glad they're happy ☺️ I am sure I'll be going through a lot of this in the months & years to come!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The goldfinch is one of my favorite birds, so I bought this seed hoping it would attract some new yellow visitors. Within a week of putting out this seed I noticed a goldfinch on the feeder that I hadn't seen before. Even some questionable weather hasn't stopped the goldfinch from returning over and over again to eat the Nyjer Seed.

It is quite small and I made a mess filling the feeder but overall it appears to have a high oil content, which is good for the birds I suppose! (Bird feeding newbie!)
