My two parakeets love the cage. Plenty of space for them to move around and fly a little bit. There are 4 little doors and two big gates, making it easy to clean the cage and to let my birdies out. They also love the toys that came with the cage. All in all, I consider this money well spent.
HUGE CAGE! Lots of perks like doors within doors (in case you do not want your keets to escape out the large upper and lower doors.). Lots of great toys included. My keets LOVE the ladder! Plenty of room for two adult parakeets. Even room so they can helicopter fly inside the cage!
This was purchased as a gift for teenagers. They received gift cards for parakeets for Christmas. They put this together themselves and the birds seem happy with their home. We did add zip ties where the first wire panel connects to the second wire panel on the back side of the cage. Just for stability. Otherwise the top panel sags and slightly overlaps the lower panel. We do not have the cage hanging, so not sure how functional it is that way. I like that it came with toys and food containers. The food containers have little hoods on them so the birds throw less seeds and shells on the floor. We have four parakeets in it and there seems to be lots of room for flying.
Its perfect for my parakeet! Although it does have some minor flaws- I made it more sturdy with zip ties where the pieces connect. Easy assembly. Easy to clean! The toys that come with the cage are still in tact as well. The feeders stay put, and all the doors close/open with no problem!
For what I spent on a much smaller cage at a pet store, this was well worth the wait. Love that it comes with so many toys for the birds.Fairly easy to assemble, one Side was stuck and it was kinda hard to figure out where it was snagged. Maybe put some paper or other between pre assembled parts to avoid them snagging.Still love it kids helped out to put it together.

The cage came in waaaaay earlier than expected and Im so grateful because the people who gave me these birds were so miserable in their old small cage.This cage is very sturdy and big:-) I recommend to buy it since Ive seen other cages smaller than this and are more expensive. Inherited 4 birds in a terrible rusty moldy cage, ugh. This one seemed like a good solution. Needed two people to put it together, just because it's awkward to keep together as you put the pieces together, but it wasn't difficult. I've seen people complain about the directions not being understandable, but if you've ever had a bird cage before, honestly, you don't need the directions. It's pretty intuitive.Pros: Many doors and feed cups. Easy to get into cage to clean, rearrange, add/remove toys, refill dishes, without having to bother birds much. Great variety of toys (though I had to supplement variety of perches, but not a big deal). They have plenty of room to get away from each other if they want, but it's also wide enough for all 4 to sit together on one perch. Even though it's tall it's pretty stable - have bumped into it a time or two and not really shaken it.Cons: bottom tray is a weird shape and is awkward to clean. Definitely needs a seed skirt around the bottom, because the height means it's easier for hulls to go everywhere.Birds had no trouble adjusting to it and are happy to return to it after we let them out. Their review is the most important, after all!
I have purchased two Yaheetech cages. The white one for my budgies, and this black one for my cockatiel. Building them can be quite hard, I had to adjust the hooks to connect the panels together. Apart from the building process, they look pretty and my birds fit comfortably in them. This one also came with a ladder and three toys which was nice! Theyre sturdy and easy to clean. I like that it has a lot of little windows because you can attach plenty of things. Overall its a nice big cage that keeps my birds happy.
I am very happy this came to my house one day early (except I'm on vacation :). However, when I looked over the online receipt I noticed there were 2 (I never remembered changing the quantity from 1 to 2) which I'm sure is a mistake on my behalf ??but I'm frustrated right now with having to return one.?? I will update when I have gotten the cage together and when my budgies have lived in it for a bit.
I like the size of this cage for my two parakeets. Not difficult at all to assemble but I did add a few zip ties to make it more securely fit together. I also removed the door latches which had sharp metal pieces sticking out, as one reviewer warned injured her parakeet. Instead I use plastic links to hold the doors closed which work well and was an easy fix.Good price and lots of toys included. Overall cage wires are thinner than expected-bottom seams sturdy and fits well, size is good. Im happy with purchase after making a few adjustments.
