Excellent for the birds to get extra energy and nutrients during this time of year and the winter months. Personally I feed them these peanut nuggets all year long. The Mama birds course this in the early Spring due to the fact that they will be having baby birdies shortly. It's a treat they love as do the woodpeckers and the Robins!
I buy these constantly because my backyard birds love them. This winter, a bluebird family can't get enough of these. They arrive in a group of five, eat several, and return a bunch of times everyday for more. My woodpeckers, nuthatches, and wrens also approve of these suet nuggets. Squirrels, not so much. Highly recommended!
Have had a Bird Buddy bird feeder for about 6 months and have been adding these suet pellets to the seed every time I fill the feeder. The birds love it and eat it before they touch the seed. Well worth the cost and now I'm a multiple time repeat buyer.
These nuggets were almost a $1.00 cheaper at Walmart than anywhere else. I have been using these for six years and they are by far the best bird food for wildbirds that I have found. The cheaper price and free shipping are a bonus. You will not be disappointed if you sincerely want to attract some unusual birds to fee.
I feed a lot of birds and this product allows many birds to feed at once.
Blue Jays and Thrashers. Thrashers give it to chicks. Great for energy
The birds love this. I cannot keep the bird feeder filled! If you love birds put this in your backyard.
The birds at my feeder love these. I mix them with black sunflower seeds; but they would easily mix into any type of seed. I've watched the birds pick through the seed I offer them, and they always pick out the suet nuggets first. This product makes bird watching more enjoyable!
I bought these for my suet eaters---woodpeckers, mockingbirds, and for the first ever on my balcony--robins. Unfortunately, the starlings and grackles also showed up. I don't mind feeding starlings, but they don't like to share. And the squirrels ate the other bird food. Sigh. Two 27 oz bags didn't last two weeks. This is why we can't have nice things.
birds seem to really like it but the bag I ordered arrived looking more like saw dust than nuggets. Next time I'll buy in store instead of online.
