The woodpeckers loved these blocks. We no sooner got these suit blocks in place that the birds went nuts eating them. We placed two blocks in place and both got equal attention from the birds. I enjoy seeing them get eaten so quickly. It tells me just how much they enjoy them. We have 4 breeds of woodpeckers that enjoy feeding on these blocks. Seeing how much they love to eat them it makes them well worth the small price I pay for them.
all my birds, especially the woodpeckers, visit it everyday. lasts about 2-3 days before refilling. I buy them in quantity of 4 or 5, also good price.
First time buying the apple.
These are our woodpeckers' favorite suet. Other birds like them as well, but the little downy and hairy woodpeckers are what we see most feasting on these.
Birds love it and attract a wide variety of birds
We had a mama woodpecker and baby woodpecker show up on day 2 of the new suet hanger going up in the backyard. The chickadees and cardinals like it too!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love that you can buy a large quantity of food for woodpeckers and easy to open packages. I actually use this to deter them. I place it on the other side of our property so they tend to feed and hang out there more and not bore into our back buildings.
My woodpeckers, of all varieties, love this. I also have plenty of other birds that nibble at it every once in a while...including the starlings. I tried changing to a different brand and they wouldn't touch it, so I came back to this one and have to put a new cake in the feeder every other week.
i dont know who is making the suet cakes that you are selling these days but they are missing the mark. usually the birds are all over them and they wipe them out in a day. These recent purchases have been a waste of $$. They are thinner and god only knows where the suet is being conjured up from. Poor quality...and not well received by my feathered friends.
Beware of this listing. It purports to be for 12 suet cakes but it is really only for one. I requested a refund, and was given a return label, with no explanation for the fraudulent listing or any message of apology. In fact the listing remains unchanged, though it could be corrected in minutes.
