Cage is very sturdy and likewise is the stand. I was a bit dissapointed since I ordered a Sand Colored cage and the plastic base does not match the cage. I was told all the plastis bases are an off whit color, however they seem to be more a light blue green color. We have a single cockatiel and the bird loves this cage. It could have been designed a bit easier to clean. Overall its a very good sturdy cage. Install instructions leave a lot to be desired, you will need pliers to assemble the cage.
I shopped around for a cage for my parakeets, and came across this one. I bought it because of its large size, ease in cleaning, ease in moving room to room, and esp. for the price. I shopped for a cage locally, and the cages just didnt compare to this one. The only problem with this cage is figuring out how to put it together! There were directions, but they weren't very clear. My parakeets love this cage-plenty of room to move around and also to add extra perches and seed cups. The slide out drawer makes cleaning easy. I would recommend adding a seed guard to keep your floors clean.
This bird cage is perfect for my parakeets, the instructions for building it was a little vague but with time & patience it went up guick. love the 2 quick access doors for food and large center door to reach in, also the top opens up for even more access to the birds. my parakeets seem a lot happier now that they are able to stretch thier wings & fly a little bit I also love the portablity of the cage. would recommend this cage to all small bird owners
The fit of the cage was very tight (which is good once it's together, but made it difficult to assemble). The printed ""directions"" that came with the cage were minimal. This added to the difficult assembly because my husband and I weren't sure exactly how the panels fit together. Through a lot of effort, mis-trails, and slight bending of the frame, we were able to give our birds a new home. The case is absolutely beautiful.
HAPPY WITH DURABILITY, DOORS AND CONNECTORS NEEDED MINOR TIGHTENING, BUT IS NORMAL. I AM VERY HAPPY AND MY BIRDS EVEN MORE. EASY TO PUT TOGETHER!!!!!
Bought this cage for my cockatiel, pain in the butt to put together and the instrustions left much to be desired (includes a picture and a parts list). It needs a seed gaurd because there is nothing stopping seeds and feathers from coming out of this cage and it needs to have better doors, prefurably ones that lock. But once the cage is set up it is very pretty and spacious.
I wanted the silver cage shown online so I picked the platinum option. It was white with gold speckles. It was also delivered with the plastic bottom tray cracked. I'm returning this.
four sides and top had to be put together but there was no hardware. possibly it was up to purchaser to bend metal to get it to stay together but in any case the instructions gave no guidance. I wanted to use it for travel and boarding but I didn't trust the cage enought to put a bird inside.
Cage looked perfect on the picture. The stand was well made and fit easily together, however the dome did not fit together no matter how we tried.The doors were flimsy and not easy to slide.We returned the cage.
not worth the price-cheaply made-not a good fit together product-flimsy doors to dishes and entrance not really secure enough & the top closure not really secure enough either. Would not recommend for large, intelligent birds.
