Was somewhat difficult to fit together but happy in the end
I think this is a quality, well-designed cage. I definitely recommend purchasing additional perches. The one that comes with the cage is a little large and I think a smaller options for a budgie or small bird is smart. The cage was straighfoward to assemble, but the directions are minimal.
The cage was shipped quickly and arrived in good shape. Directions are basically a picture, that's about it! Most of the cage went together well, but the top just would not fit until we ""forced"" it on. Cage is sitting on carpet and seems unsteady. Description said ""cups and perches"" and has more than one cup, but only one perch, not adequate for a parrot. I would recommend looking for a sturdier cage that fits together better. This item was made in China.
I received this birdcage and although it looks nice,it is a headache to put together. The dome is short one inch from snapping on and I had to use zip ties just to get it to hold together. I had already purchased my birds and had no choice but to keep it but I would definitely not recommend this item.
It's a nice cage but it came with a cracked tray and missing legs so hopefully you can wait for replacement parts. Hayneedle was helpful in initiating the request for parts but I wish I didnt have to go through that.
The cage was very pretty once we got it together! It came with no instructions for assembly (many, many parts). Just 2 pictures of what it was supposed to look like once assembled! My husband (who is extremely handy) had to retro fit parts of it because it didn't fit together correctly. One of the legs was bigger than the other 3 for the stand as well!!! *sigh* Anyway....our parakeets are doing fine so far (we've had them 2 weeks). However, I would not recommend this cage......
