This adaptation of Edward Bulwer-Lytton's The Last Days of Pompeii, was filmed in Italy in 1913 and is a costume epic concerning the famous volcanic disaster. The film showcases a variety of Pompeii townspeople including a priest, a politician, a blind girl, and a witch, with all of their stories intertwining before being overshadowed by the lava spurting Mount Vesuvius.
