This was MY mistake. I thought these were more a straight clamp-like clip, was surprised that it is actually a CLAW clip! I have short to medium hair so this was not suitable for me. I ended up giving them to a friend who had long hair.
The plastic on these is very thin and the teeth break quite easily. If you have thick hair i would pass ontheze since they aren't strong enough.
