I get so many compliments on the color! It’s perfect for me. The problem I have is it’s always sold out near me. Fade resistant and covers grey beautifully!!
I've been using this same color for fifteen years. Absolutely loved it for a very long time. In the last couple years, the formula seems to have changed. The color is much more dull, it doesn't seem to last as long, and it's now very runny! Several times now as I'm waiting for the dye to set, it starts dripping down my neck and forehead! Worse yet, the dye now stains fabric long after coloration. I colored my hair over two weeks ago. Went to bed one night with my hair dry. It had been several shampoos since I first colored it (and yes, I always make sure the water runs clear from the very first rinse after coloring). In other words, the dye should have been *very* set, and unable to be transferred. However, it was a hot summer night, so I must have sweated a bit, because when I woke up, my brand new, expensive pillowcase was covered in streaked dye stains. I am FURIOUS. As I said, I've been a loyal customer and even a brand evangelist for fifteen years, but this was the last straw I'm done. Time to find a new at-home dye. DO NOT BUY THIS.
Since beauty shops are currently closed due to the coronavirus I felt like I would try to color my own hair for the first time. Medium copper brown 5. 5 AM is the color that matched mine the closest from the box. I went precisely by the directions and set a timer like instructed. However, when everything was done and my hair was dry again the color was drastically darker than the box and pictures provided. I figured that my hair would end up being possibly a little darker from reading previous comments. I wasn’t expecting to go from a medium brown to having almost black hair. The color is so drastic that it is a embarrassing. The only positive things from the experience are: 1-My hair feels soft now 2-My roots are covered 3-I appreciate my hair salon and stylist even more This product is definitely not recommended since it is nothing like the box. Truly misleading.
