Great travel curling iron

This is a great little curling iron perfect for traveling with small carry-on luggage. Since it is so small, it is a little more difficult to use than a full-sized iron, so I wouldn't use it all the time. But, it works great for travel and the little bit of touching-up that I need to do - curling my bangs and taming a few wild curls.

This is the perfect curling iron for those who travel. Compact and lightweight - couldn't find it anywhere except online, and WalMart has the best price!

I LOVE IT!!!

I dreamed up this product then went to stores searching for it, thinking, why do we need such a long handle and barrel when you only typically curl about an inch or two of hair at a time? all I could find is smaller ceramic straighteners. I'm not trying to straighten I'm trying to curl! And then there it was on walmart.com for the exact same price as amazon, the only other spot in cyber space that had it. It arrived before my honeymoon and i used it marvelously in the Bahamas. It heats fast, and curls quickly, perfect for quick ringlets around the face. I love the color and it comes with the cutest carrying case ever with a little red heart charm. With shipping I only came out of pocket a whopping $15. This product is genius! A must have!

LOVE

I love this curling iron! It is small and convenient when traveling. It heats up quickly and keeps the temperature well. It doesn't open really wide, but when following the recommendations on the accompanying pamphlet it's easy. The coating doesn't snag my fine hair either. I'm really happy with my purchase.

Conair Mini Pro 1" Ceramic Curling Iron

This little curling iron heats rather quickly...not in 30 seconds like some. I usually use one that has a cool end to put my left hand to help guide my hair, while holding the iron with my right hand. This one has a very small cool area to put my fingers without getting burned. I'll have to be more careful when using it. i gave it four stars on "ease of use" because of this feature. I have a three-week trip coming up and I think it will be great for travel, which was my goal.

Great portable curler

I wanted a curler for travel - it couldn't take up much space because I don't like to check bags - it needed to heat up fast and I just needed a little curl to add body to my hair. This iron works great. It is super fast heat up and my daughter has even used it to straighten her bangs when they get too curly. She's able to use it so fast that I'm never sure that she's used it already. Great little item for a great price.

Decent Gentle Massager

Awkward on/off switch. Decent massager, but not very powerful. Good for neck, scalp, but don't expect great back massage. Not horribly loud, but not as quiet as older model, which died after 20 years use. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Tiny Little Curling Works!

I needed the smallest curling iron on a trip where we only allowed to bring a carry-on. Only one setting but it did the trick and the price was right!

Iron to short - clamp doesn't open wide.

Reviewed in the USA on 2014-07-06T17:00:00

I wanted a curling iron that was shorter and easier to handle. All of the usual ones are so heavy and cumbersome that I constantly burn my face, ears, neck, and head. They are hard to handle for an older woman without the arm and hand strength of a young person. This curling iron is smaller - but it does not open wide enough to get your hair into it - AT ALL. I was so disappointed. I thought this would be the answer to my problems. I go out with burns on my cheeks, sometimes my ears or neck, and on my scalp - from losing control of the wand and it falling on my face, neck, ears or head. This size would work IF the "iron" were about an inch longer, and the clamp would open wide so you can get your hair in it, clamp shut, and curl. If they ever lengthen the iron and fix the clamp to open wide (as large ones do), I would buy another one.

Not as described.

The description says it comes with a heat resistant pouch, and actually showed a picture of the case. But all that came was the iron. I returned that one and they are supposed to send another one but I'm not holding my breath that the one they send will come with a case either.
