This is the best hot air brush! I had another brand & this one tops it! This is my second Revlon styling brush, I broke the plug on my first one. Found it on Walmart.com & got it for less than $20. It curls , styles & makes hair shine! My daughter ordered one after using mine.
I find this dryer is easier to hold than the dryers I have had. My hair is fine and delicate so I never use high heat. With this one, I can put it on the high setting. I mostly use just the black attachment because I like the way it dries the under side of my hair without having to put your head up side down. My hair is on the shorter side so I have only used the smaller brush. The bristles are nice and soft and I find this dryer to be great for people with thinner hair strands that are easily scorched. I use the lower heat setting for styling with the brush. There is also a cool setting that will probably be great on a hot summer day. I got rid of two really good dryers because this one is working so well for me.
Other products like this have such a large round brush that they only work well on long hair. With this one - there are 2 round brushes that are great for shorter or medium length hair. Puts out good air flow and heat. High and low plus cool settings provide good versatility. When not using the round brushes, the nozzle attachment lets you direct the air flow precisely where you want it.
I feel like this is a super handy tool to have instead of having three separate heating tools. It does the job really well, and sure, it does get hot like the other reviews say, but you need to have the presence of mind to not touch the hot bits or else wait until they cool down.
I love this hair tool! It dries so gently and quietly I can even use it on my longhair cat without any trouble! The versatility of the attachments is wonderful and helps achieve a salon blowout look and coifed bangs in a much shorter time than a regular hair dryer. I've found it to be less damaging than a regular curling iron and unless I'm trying to get true ringlets it's now my number one tool.
I have used a very similar Revlon styling brush for years. Recently, it developed a short in the electrical cord. I was afraid I wouldn't find a comparable model anymore and then I came across this styling brush. I'm so glad I found it. I used it for the first time today and it is great. Whether I want a soft straight look (1 1/2" brush) or more curly (1" brush), this styling brush gets it done.
Ilove this hair dryer with attachable brushes, 2 different sizes!! It is strong on power, the 1/2" brush works well for curls and the 1" brush for volume!! It makes my short hairstyle full on the crown and just a soft turn at the ends (1" brush). It's easy to use and makes a pro out of even me!! I highly recommend this to anyone who is debating one!! I just love it!!!
All in all, after I ordered this Hot Air Brush and had a week to think about it while I was waiting for it to arrive, I started thinking it wasn’t going to work for me and fully expected that I would return it. I decided to give it a try anyway, and it turns out that I am really happy with it considering what I paid and how I use it! *****BIGGEST TIP***** If you use a cool setting a lot as a momentary burst to set hair, buy a hot air brush that has a separate cool button. The cool setting on this hot air brush is one of the temperature slider settings and it is a little cumbersome to use. *****LIKES***** > this is much easier than using a separate hair dryer and a round styling brush > the bristles are soft and do not hurt my head > the bristles hold my hair > the swivel cord is helpful > low heat is a nice drying temp for being so close to the hair > the extra non-brush attachment is good for general drying on both low and high heat setting > the brush has a cool setting > the 1200 watts is good, so if you want higher heat you do get it *****WISH IT WASN’T SO***** > the attachments are a little difficult to remove and I fear breaking the plastic mechanism (but haven’t yet, so maybe it will be fine) > the cool setting is part of the temperature setting switch that you need to slide, rather than a separate button that you push. *****HOW THE HOT AIR BRUSH WORKS FOR ME***** I have somewhat thin hair and I can completely dry my hair with just this Hot Air Brush. I dry it in thin sections starting at the top of my head, working down the sides, and wrap the hair over the brush to lift my roots and give my hair body. (I don't need to use the cool setting.) This is hard to do in the back, so I do just near the top of my head, and the very ends to make them straight and slightly curl under, and then use the non-brush attachment to finish drying. My hair looks a lot nicer ever since I have been using this brush.
I bought this Hot Air Curling Brush and a Conair Hair Dryer with Diffuser as Christmas gifts. Promised as next day delivery and would have received 2 days prior to Christmas. Product was not received at Fedex until 5 days later. No problem. Thats OK and I just explained to the recipient their gift was delayed in shipment. However, when I received the product it was delivered in one huge, oversized box - and removed from their original boxes. The curling brush and dryer were placed in on huge box with manuals- with no packing material or bubble wrap. The diffuser was missing for the hair dryer. Walmart local store quickly refunded my money on the hair dryer and I purchased that item in store. The curling brush was not in stock so I accepted as a non- box item. I was shocked that (2) "new" items were removed from their boxes and just thrown in a big box together with no protective bubble wrap or anything. This is the only bad experience I have had with Walmart shipping but I am just stunned. I will be presenting the curling brush in a bag because it did not get shipped in the manufacturers box. The product does appear new and in good working condition. Just unfortunate for me that it appears used because I dont have a box and shipping prep was horrid at best
After only being used about 7 or 8 times the dryer will only turn on. It made a loud pop and now doesn't blow any hot air. I purchased this to use when I am at my mom's house so it definitely hasn't been used much.
