I have used Head & Shoulders throughout my life whenever my scalp is feeling dry. I have never tried the almond oil option before. First off, this smells AMAZING. I love the way it makes my hair smell afterwards. It works very well for relieving any dry scalp symptoms I might be experiencing, too. I did receive this product in exchange for an honest review, all opinions are 100% my own.
First off can we just start with the packaging I love how it fits so snug inside my hand, and secondly I didn't think I would like the scent "almond oil" but it smells so great for my likings...I suffer from dandruff and this product is awesome on so many levels! Thank you Head & Shoulders for being great!
Overall this is the best dandruff shampoo that I use. I have a dry scalp along with my dad for some time now so we have been using this shampoo for a while and it works great! Doesn't leave my head dry or itchy, and as a plus it smells great too. Lastly, I have received this product complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes.
I have really enjoyed using this Head and Shoulders Dry Scalp Care with Almond Oil Shampoo. The sweet almond smell is new and refreshing but the shampoo still has that familiar Head and Shoulders scent. I really love the way my hair feels in and out of the shower. Shiny and more manageable. I tested this Head & Shoulders product for free, but all of these opinions are my own.
Pleasantly surprised with this product. The smell is fabulous, the shampoo is thick and rich. The value is great with actual results. I have long curly hair that tends to be dry and after a few shampoos I actually had improved curl elasticity. Although this shampoo is used for dandruff as much as itchy scalp relief I primarily used it for my itchy scalp. After every shower my head would always be itchy. After using this shampoo and conditioner for a few weeks I started realizing that my scalp wasn't as itchy as it used to be. I almost saw instant relief in my scalp. I definently recommend this product!
I haven't even used this product for a week and I'm not seeing any flakes now and my scalp doesn't feel as dry as it used to. There's a tiny medicated smell from the bottle but it doesn't carry over to the hair. I think anyone should try this product if they have any dandruff or have even a minor dryness to their scalp. I need to mention I tried this for free but these are my actual opinions.
I've been using this shampoo for about 3 weeks, and it has it's ups and downs. I mean, it does the job when it comes to dandruff, but I've tried better shampoos give the same results. First of all, the smell. It smells kind of like almonds but like fake almonds, if that even makes sense. Second of all, my hair gets greasy quicker when using this shampoo. And lastly, i feel like this leaves build-up in your hair, it just feels heavy. Overall it gets the job done, but I recommend using a different product. BTW I've used Head and Shoulders shampoo before, and I've really liked it. Just because one of their products isn't my favorite, doesn't mean I don't like the brand:) [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
This shampoo helped with my husbands dry scalp. This contains almond oil to sooth dry scalps. This shampoo lathers really nice and rinses off clean. The scent was quite soothing and not overwhelming. I would repurchase this product and do recommend.
I received this product in exchange for my review from influenster! I enjoyed the scemy and it wasn't too heavy on my fine,wavy hair. I don't have much of a dry scalp as I did in the winter, so maybe this helped a little? I'm not sure, but it is moisturizing.
