I noticed a difference in the lightness and glow of my blonde hair after one use. It really refreshed the tones and also gently lightened the shade. The more I use it the better my blonde gets. I now use this along with the Go Blonder Lightening Conditioner as part of my daily routine!
I received Sheer Blonde® Go Blonder Lightening Shampoo to try and review as part of Glam Sense and I am so glad that I got to because I now love this line of John Frieda Blonde products. I have naturally blonde hair that gets darker in the winter and I found that the Go Blonder Shampoo was a great way to lighten up my hair colour. The shampoo gave me a good overall colour touch up naturally without making my hair feel damaged or processed. I noticed a difference almost immediately after I began to use the Go Blonder line. I really liked and how the shampoo left my hair feeling clean and brighter after being washed. I would definitely purchase this product again and recommend it to my blonde friends.
I really liked the fragrance and texture, the product did not leave my hair flat and oily. At first I did not have a good impression as it lightened my hair slowly, but when I checked my before and after photos the results were very impressive. My hair has become more blonde and the red highlights have disappeared.
Tried this product line for the past week. There is no funny ammonia smell at all, definitely brightened my hair and left it shiny. I also used the Sheer Blonde Lightening Conditioner, and the Go Blonder In-Shower Lightening Treatment to get the best results. Will definitely keep using these products.
I really like how clean my hair and scalp feel when I use GO BLONDER LIGHTENING SHAMPOO. There is barely any scent in this shampoo which I love. I have naturally honey blonde hair and even with just one wash I saw a big change in the blonde-ness. Even when it is wet it looks blonde still. I like that after many washes it doesn't keep making it lighter and lighter but it reaches a perfect shade and then further washes just seem to maintain that shine and lightness.
I have used this shampoo only a few times(with a few squirts of the lightning spray,too) and so far,the results are amazing !I have to be really careful about "brassiness",as my hair has many reddish(unwanted by me) undertones...with this product brassiness has not been a problem.
I have dark hair and don't want to bleach it so every time I get my highlights done they look brassy / orange at roots and I absolutely hate that! This shampoo tones them in a week after using every other day! And my highlights look amazing! The only thing I don't like about this shampoo that after continuing use my hair starts feeling very dry and straw like, so I have to do extra conditioning measures. Other than that it definitely does what it says, and that's just a shampoo! I have never used lightning conditioner, it would do the job better and faster probably.
Was a little skeptical at first but jumped off the ledge to try it and I have to say Using all 3 products It Works!
First off, I love the shape of the bottles. Thin, sleek and easy to store in the shower. That being said, the hole of this shampoo bottle was NOT big enough! It took way too much effort to squeeze out product. Though you do need very little to create a nice lather, it was a bit inconvenient. I ended up taking some pliers to the spout and created a bigger hole. Though it doesn't click shut like usual, the cap didn't leak when it's standing up. Fragrance, texture and cleaning power are all top notch. My hair colour is rendered more vibrant and highlights are preserved. I wash my hair daily so over time (1 month) if used alone I'm sure you'd see noticeable results. Received from Glam Sense for an honest, unbiased review.
My hair is naturally blonde and thin, and this product did seem to lighten it a shade. I used it consecutively for 3 weeks and documented the process with photos. I took the photos in the same room and in the same light. As seen, it did work. However, one thing I did not like about the shampoo was the bottle. I had to squeeze the bottom really hard for 10 seconds to get an good amount of shampoo out. Also, I did not like that the shampoo made my hair super knotty after applying. If I did not have the conditioner, my hair would be a nightmare afterwards. Overall, the quality of the product is good as it did lighten my hair one shade.
