I love this controller. I had one installed at my building and it is so easy to use from my phone. I ordered an additional one for my house. The best feature is operating it from my phone. When geese decide to hang out in our yard I just turn on the sprinkler and they are gone.
Install was technically done in 5 minutes for me. I had an existing switch. I accidentally attached the white Control wire to a zone and it wouldn’t work. I did. The support chat (on a Saturday!) and they figured it out in a couple minutes. Now it all works great. I love that it works with Google home. App is very simple and easy to use.
Installing the Rachio 3 panel couldn't have been simpler! Integration with the Tempest weather station just works. We've had so much rain (even a hurricane!) that the panel hasn't run the sprinkler for a while. My old system, even with the old school rain sensor, would've wasted hours of watering in the same time. Defintely recommend this for anyone who wants to up their lawn care!
Welcome set up. Require a call to customer service for some help but once installed it was fairly smooth sailing using the new product. I did have the small amount of difficulty deleting the old product for my app but with little perseverance I figured out how to do that.
I had one at my previous house and loved it. Our current home had the manual controller and it was so inconvenient, so I bought a new Rachio for this house. I like being able to see when the sprinklers ran and love being able to turn on the sprinklers with my phone. Easy to install.
With able assistance from our fave electrician, the controller was quickly in place. Then the hard part came - getting the device connected to the internet/Rachio. We have three wifi "channels" - which one to connect with? Instructions said to scan the bar code on the controller... but no bar code there (a QCode, though). With a lot of patience, it took many tries to connect to the Rachio server). But once it was connected and a schedule created, it's worked very well. Adjusted for rainfall, and made a change when September arrived. I'm glad we have this device - but better instructions and/or links to Rachio videos for this model would have made for a less frustrating experience.

I loved my original Rachio and hoped this new one would come with more manual controls. Like being able to set specific watering times. I don't know how if it does, but so far I don't see a $200 upgrade to my watering
I have Rachio at 5 locations and love them . Mine was hit by lightning so ordered a new one . It wouldn't connect and took a couple weeks with service to force the connection but not the master valve port has no power .
