I have used this product for years & absolutely love it! I do home waxing on my upper lip & sometimes my eyebrows & it removes the hair completely! Tried using a different product once & did not work as good as this. I will never use anything else.
Been using it for many years now, and the only product i've used for ALL my waxing needs. Yes, this kit here, works for my legs, bikini area, underarms, and facial hair. Gets a little red after, but if u knew what u were doin you can make it go away and no bumps after! Only one complaint that I did see others mention; needs more strips!!!! (though i will say i am getting better over time with using less of them and therefore having more left over :) *By the way, I'm arab so the hair is definately THICKER and in a lot MORE places and this works just fine.
I've been waxing for 20 years, and I have very thick, coarse hair, difficult to wax. I have never used anything as simple and pain free as this Lavender Spa wax. It is so easy and pain free and FAST. I can do touch ups in like ten minutes. You can even reuse the same wax covered cloth strip a couple times on touch ups. Please don't stop making it. My only complaint is that there aren't enough papers for the amount of wax. Even though I cut them into fourths, I still run out before the wax is gone. Is there any way to get more papers?
I have tried many types of waxes and I believe this is the best microwave at home wax there is. I have sensitive skin and coarse hair which makes it difficult to find a wax that will get all my hair out without stripping my skin as well. I tried the extra strength version and it would rip my skin out. I use this for underarms, bikini line and stomach.
This product gets rid of all the hairs on my body, short or long. It is particularly great for underarms because it's impossible to wait for those hairs to grow full length (I think that's just disgusting to see). So yes, it needs to be a strong wax and it does sometimes feel like it pulls the skin off as well. But if you use it correctly it is fantastic! You only need to apply it once and it should pull everything! Even those tiny upper lip hairs. Comes off with ANY oil, even vaseline or whatever you have on hand.
Due to my current tight budget, because I'm unemployed, I decided to try this product because I love Sally products and have never been disappointed by any of them. I chose this product because it's supposed to be for sensitive skin but had a horrible experience. It took me around 8 hours to "wax" my legs. The product was gooey and would not stick to the strips, which at the same time, were not enough. The product would remain on the leg. At the end of the eighth hour, hair was still there -removed like 60%- but had torn skin away, which made my legs "burn" for a few days after. My legs were prickly due to the hair that was left behind and the others that were broken during the process. I still have scars due to the removal of skin and not hair... I hope my legs heal soon and no marks are left behind...
I bought this product because I was tired of the constant razor burn I was getting on my underarms from shaving. I thought this product may be the answer because it was for sensitive skin. First the wax did not heat up well and cooled quickly. This made it very hard to apply. It also did not come off easy. It took 3 or 4 times waxing the same spot to get all the wax off and it didn't even remove all the hair. All it did was cause even more irritation. Once I had finally given up on the wax I applied the aftercare to help remove the rest of the wax. This burned my skin to the point it brought tears to my eyes. This product was horrible and very messy!
First few strips worked great. Then once it started to cool the wax stop coming off easily. Now I still have wax on my legs even after bathing and scrubbing. Now legs look awful and sore. No shorts for me for awhile. Save your money and shave your legs.
You're going to see bots saying "it's so great" IT'S NOT! You apply the wax, hold the skin taut and pull and the strip simply rolls off the wax. The wax doesn't even adhere to the strip, it stays on your skin and takes about 4/5 tries applying and ripping the strip off again. This product leaves bruises, dark marks, and most of all all the hair you wanted gone, STILL THERE. Don't do it. Don't do it. Do not waste your money whatsoever!!
This is the worse waxing product I have ever used. The wax wouldn't come off my legs. I had to reheat the wax 3 times and still didn't finish my legs. HORRIBLE. I ended up with bruises on both legs from where the wax would stick to the paper, but didn't want to come off my legs. Save you money and you time. This is the worst product to use if you want to wax.
