Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick Gold Goddess is a very good lipstick to wear in cold weather. It is soft and easy to apply even when the temperature is cold. I love the feel of it, more like a gloss than a lipstick, but it stays on like a lipstick. The Gold color is more like a neutral than a true gold so it would match anything you wanted to wear it with. I like to use it over darker lipstick and make it shine.
I have 4 other Revlon Super Lustrous Lipsticks in my makeup drawer. I love them all. The lustrous lipsticks are creamy and glide on smoothly. The lipstick has no odor or taste. When I licked my lips after applying, I could not tell I had lipstick on. The packaging is great since the cap is clear on the top and you can view the exact color of the lipstick. The color - 041 Gold Goddess - is barely visible as you can see in my photos. I think this color could be worn by older women everyday just to keep their lips moisturized or by a young teenager just beginning to use lipstick. Because the shade is so natural this lipstick would match any outfit you are wearing.
Wow, this is a rich, dimensional gold shimmer lipstick! Glossy and creamy, great alone for summer subtlety or layered over another lip color for pop of winter drama. Love the chic black and gold click-top case and see-through cap (no more guessing what color you are buying in the store!). Mix of gold tones, from bright to burnished for depth of color and sparkle. Great moisturizing ingredients to prevent dry lips with style. Came in a cello Street Chic wrap in French and English. You will feel like Cleopatra with Gold Goddess on your lips!!!
I'm so in love with this lipstick!! The color is beautiful!! It goes on so beautifully, it's nice and smooth. It also lasts longer, then most other lipsticks I have used. The other thing I love, is the cover stays on. I just hate when the cover constantly falls off, in my makeup case.
I was not a lipstick gal until I found these (in my 30s!) For real, I thought I'd always settle for tinted balm. Other lipsticks from department store brands like Lancome make my lips dry and the feel of them is always in the back of my mind. These Revlon ones are so comfortable, not drying, and I'm literally obsessed with On The Mauve, it's my perfect daily color.
The Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick, 042 Lilac Mist, 0.15 oz goes on smoothly. It has decebtbcoverage and is moist enough to wear in dry winter indoor heat without drying out lips. The color is really cute. The tube has a clear top so you can see the color when you grab it out of a drawer or purse. The only reason I gave the color appeal a rating of 3 was because the color, with my red hair made me look like I was freezing and my lips were blue. I still like it as my hair will be much lighter in summer and it's a cute lilac color.
Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick, 041 Gold Goddess, 0.15 oz has a creamy texture and a golden shimmer. I liked this color on me (red hair, pale complexion). It is fairly long lasting and does not need more than one coat to look good. The color does not run and my lips do not feel dried out when I use this. The product goes on smoothly. The top of the tube is clear so you can see the color of the stick rather than just rely on the sticker on the bottom. The stick of product rolls up and down easily and the end comes to a rounded point making upper lip application easy. The top does not come off in my purse- which for me is an important quality as I've had some messes over the years with poorly designed tubes of lipstick. I received this product from the Spark Reviewer program and am under no obligation to give a positive recommendation. I will definitely be using this daily and getting another when it runs out.
I love the color of this lipstick and it matches my skin tone perfectly. The texture is silky and glides right on. The more passes you make, the more metallic the color reads. It's not a thick matte-like consistency. It's more opaque and enhances your natural lip color more than covering it up. At least that's the experience I had. I have a tawny complexion and the lipstick gave a nice pop to my lips. Fairer complexions may see an even bigger difference in the end result. I smeared some on tissue and the gold tone was even brighter and more metallic. See pics below.
