I purchase this ALL the time..It is the store brand for Cetaphil, which was recommended by my dermatologist, many (15) years ago. On the now rare occasions that I get a professional facial , the esthetician always comment on how nice my skin is. I am a hairstylist, and frequently recommend this product to clients, friends, and family.
I've been using this product for years as a budget friendly alternative to Cetaphil. It is great for sensitive skin and leaves your skin clean and soft with no residue. This product doesn't mess with your pH, so you can use it safely on all your girly bits!
I bought a bottle of both Cetafil and the Equate brand and I can't tell the difference. Save your money and buy Equate. Same ingredients at half the price.
I am doing a review on the equate gentle skin cleanser . I usually buy the cetaphil one, but things have just been so financially hard I was contemplating not buying any at all. I only had a budget of $6 and cetaphil is closer to $9. I also made a mistake in buying other brands in the past that were more affordable and listed the same exact ingredients. I need a product that cleanses gently and is completely unscented. So I was hesitant to try equate and get "burned" again. in the store I decided to do something I don't usually do and open the bottle to smell inside. I was pleased that there was no fragrance scent, so I bought it. I am so so glad I did. Even if I only saved $3, that was still savings and I love love love this product. Totally scent free, I can use it multiple times per day without having my skin dry out, and to me it performs exactly like the Cetaphil brand. The only observable difference which is not a deciding factor for me was when I squeezed out some of each into my hands I noticed the equate ran down my hand faster, so as to be more liquidy or watery, but it does not diminish the quality of the product in my eyes. I looked up reviews of this product on another site but still was skeptical. I am so so glad I bought this product and thank goodness that walmart generated a product where the ingredients don't lie like other brands out there (like Dove fyi).
This product works just as well as its more expensive name brand sister. I love how gentle it is. You can get it in your eye without any stinging and that's the reason I use it everyday to take off my makeup!
It is gentle cleanser used by my kid. It is very similar to branded ones at great price.
The equate cetaphil gentle cleanser is great. 4+ dollars less, same cleanser.
As gentle and good ad Cetaphil. Sensitive skin users will love this
I buy this cleanser for my 3yr old daughter who has eczema and requires a gentle cleanser with no fragrances or irritants. It is a few dollars cheaper than the cetaphil and is mostly comparable. I feel it should be even more affordable, which is why it gets 3 stars.
Started out top broke when I tried to open it. Odd shaped bottle. so I couldn't put in another bottle with a pump. Very thin and watery, when I transffered to a regular bottle. Was not worth the price
