I have been looking for a cream cleanser, to use in the winter, on days that I do not wear make up. I feel this is a good quality face wash that leaves my skin feeling soft, clean,
I love this stuff! As a teen all I wanted to do was dry my skin out and scrub every inch with harsh abrasives. As a late 30s gal I treat my delicate face like I would a precious baby bottom. Light tough, nothing drying, gentle, gentle, gentle. This stuff is a much cheaper alternative for Cerave hydrating facial wash and honestly it works just the same for me. With either I would use an oil based cleanser to remove makeup then this as my washing my face step. It does NOT dry out my skin, it doesn't clog my pores or break me out. It is just perfect and I keep a bottle in my shower and by my sink. It's the only face wash I've used for years and when I try to step out and try the latest fad item from Sephora I switch right back. Treat your face to the love and moisture it deserves and get this!!
It gently cleanses my face. I haven't broken out or developed a rash since using this product. I hope they never stop making this. My face is EXTREMELY sensitive, so I am very impressed.
Can't say too much as I have only been using it for a week now, but it does make my face somewhat more hydrated (I have very dry skin with acne on my chin). The only downside I don't like is it doesn't do a good job at washing off my makeup. I have to scrub and scrub with it to get all my makeup off. Otherwise it's not bad, does make my skin somewhat softer (not as soft as I want) but I shall keep using it and see how it goes!
When I wash my face, I want to be able to get my face clean and remove my makeup all at once. This product claims it can do that. I have found that not to be true. If my face is already clean of makeup, this cleanser works very well. But if I am trying to remove makeup with it, this is a total failure. Using my hands, using a washcloth, using a makeup remover pad, it doesn't matter. This just doesn't remove makeup. It shouldn't have a claim on the label that it does. That said, I do enjoy this product, again, when I have a face free of makeup. It leaves my skin feeling soft, and it seems to make my moisturizer more effective. If it didn't have a claim on the label that it removed makeup, I would give this product more stars.
Chose this because it was “more natural” but it caused my face to break I hardly have acne but just the monthly blemishes from pms. But with this stuff the whole side of my cheeks and chin is bad. I do not recommend.
I which I did my research first. The cleanser is breaking my skin out as well! I never hardly have pimples but within a week I started developing small pimples all over my face and a few bumps. The cleanser doesn't clean at all. I used it to remove a tinted sunscreen and when I used a toner after, it was like I never washed my face! I'm getting rid of this cleanser and going back to the foaming cleanser I was using.
