Since Clean %26 Clear discontinued their continuous control acne cleanser, I searched for a substitution. After trying multiple cleansers, Equate is the most similar to Clean %26 Clear's discontinued product.
This product works just as great as name brand. I purchased for my son as he is in middle school and has moderate acne on his face. Middle school is a tough time and I don't want his acne to affect his self- esteem self- confidence. This started to clear up his face by the 2nd day. No burning or stinging. Recommend buying if you or your kids have acne
This is a generic product with the exact same ingredients as name brands costing two or three times as much. It works great and saves me money!
I am a pharmacist and my teenage daughter has pretty hard to control acne. My daughter's dermatologist recommended getting her a face wash/body wash product that contains 10% benzoyl peroxide and use it on her upper arms, back, and face. We have been using this product for the last couple of years and it has really helped clear my daughter's skin. The price is really good for a maximum strength benzoyl peroxide face/body wash. Most competitors are $2-3 more. Be warned though that it is really only for very oily skin, it is extremely drying to the skin. My daughter alternates it with less drying products when her skin is drier.
I prefer the price point of this product over “brand name” it does the same thing and works just as well, I have no complaints or issues. I have oily skin so I use this everyday I also use it under my arms to help with BO smell since I prefer no aluminum deodorant.
My dermatologist instructed me to start using an acne wash in a specific area prone to breakouts. The Equate Daily Acne Control Cleanser has 10% benzoyl peroxide, same major ingredient as name brand but saves me $$. Working great so far!!
It removes ink from the plastic dolls face that I'm restoring. That's what I'm using it for. Worked really well
My 11yo son's forehead started to break out because he wears his hair in his face. He started using the acne cleanser morning and night along with the Equate Acne Treatment and within a few days the acne cleared. We also twisted his locks away from his face to keep the oils from his hair away from his skin. I'm very pleased with the outcome and will continue to buy it as needed. The only downside is the fragrance is strong and slightly off-putting.
Cut open on the side! Discovered when I squeezed it to use it and it came out on the side instead of the capped opening.
I have dyed my hair bright red for years, and I've never destroyed my good towels. One week of using this stuff, and my towel is ruined! I didn't realize what was happening at first, but if this is what it's doing to my towel, what is it doing to my skin?!
