I have 3 different foundation brushes made by other brands and this brush is my absolute favorite. I saw all the other reviews saying that the brush soaks up the product or makes the application streaky but I never had that problem. I loved the product so much I bought the 12 set for a friend and extra for myself.
I love this brush. I can't believe it is only [$]! It feels so soft on my skin. It does not leave your foundation looking a mess either. Very good at blending and evening out your foundation for a natural look. I hate it when foundation look cakey. This is the perfect brush! I would not mind buying more. It is so worth the money. For only a dollar it is a great buy! =)It is officially *My New Love*
Alright, my mom is a makeup person as well, so she spends tons of money on brushes. i am cheaper than her so i like to get stuff liek this. its cheap and worth your [$]. theres no difference btwn a 20 brush and this [$] brush execpet 19 dollar difference
I don't like how streaky it is but it it better then another foundation brush that I bought from a similar brand for the same brush. the bristles are a lot softer and the head isn't as thick as the other one which I like because it makes it more flexible..
i currently work for a prestige line in a dept store that shall remain nameless, and being a makeup junkie discovered elf. i am an expert on all cosmetics. seriously. this is an awesome brush, for the price especiallly. i was worried that it wouldn't be big/full enough for my taste but it is great. it will be in my carry around bag and used to bail me out on the go. buyers, enjoy elf before they go global and we can't afford them as easy :)
I bought this brush at the local store with the intention of using it with my liquid concealer/foundation. I was not ecstatic with the initial results, but I found that it works fabulously and much better with my e.l.f. mineral concealer and foundation. It picks the product up without making as much of a mess. I have the e.l.f. mineral kit in warm and the brushes are great for more tightly packed products (like the bronzers and blushes), but I was always creating a huge mess in the bathroom sink using the brushes that came in the kit. I use the mineral primer (awesome) and then use this brush to apply the mineral concealer AND the foundation (upward strokes). The result is an amazing, smooth finish that looks really natural. For [$] my beauty routine has been revolutionized! :-)
For the price, it meets the needs. I'm not a professional make-up artist,nor do I wear make-up everday, so I'm always hesitant on spending $$ on make-up tools. The only con, is not compact in size to travel or carry in a purse size cosmetic bag. This brush serves its purpose and is within my budget!!
this is actually a pretty nice brush. I use it EVERYDAY I have 2 of them! this brush spreads foundation pretty evenly. Only thing I would recommend is that you do wash this brush every so often so that the bristles do not clump up because it does happen. Over all a good brush!
This was my first elf product, bought at a drug store. I tried this with a liquid foundation and it was really streaky. There are alot of the hairs that stick out. I've bought 2, and the tip came off of the handle both times! I just super glued it back on. I found this brush is better for mineral concealer. It not only covers the blemish but the area around it, which makes blending easier.
I had faith in this brush because I loved the Elf essential brush set for eyes! But this turn out to be bad! The bristles very soft but i felt like I used more of my liquid foundation than I usually do with this brush. And it left a lot of streak all over my face! Very disappointing!
