I love this concealer so much. It's a really wonderful product. The only thing is that I'd like a lighter shade. I have very pale skin and it's a bit unnatural if I don't powder it after I've applied. But it's got very good coverage and if I use a brush to apply it, it's flawless and covers anything really well. Long lasting too. One of the best concealers I've ever used.
When I first tried this, i thought it was poop. I kept rubbing and rubbing on the pot and nothing was happening! Then one day I pushed really hard, broke through the top and there was the concealer I was hoping for. So creamy and flawless coverage. Couldn't be more impresses.
I use the corrective yellow on my under eyes daily and it seriously does wonders! If I apply it under one eye but not the other you can really see the comparability, I can't go without it. No more caking on regular concealer only to have it crease and fade! This is creamy with a perfect consistency, not too thick but not sheer either! Can't beat the price ladies ;)
I debated buying this for a while because I thought that "light" was too dark, but it got such good reviews that I decided to try it out. I bought corrective yellow and light, hoping to mix them to match my skin tone. It varies from NC15 to NW25 in different seasons and different areas of my face. Well, it turns out that this was perfect! The color "light" looks really dark at first, but it comes out lighter on your skin. If you put more on, it turns out darker. I mix it with the corrective yellow for the areas in my skin with yellow undertones, such as my jaw and mouth area. The texture is smooth, creamy, and buildable. I just apply it with my finger. Great for zits, under eye, etc. The corrective yellow really works for under eye circles! I also love the formula with safe ingredients-no parabens! There is a lot of product, too. Sooo much better than the all over cover stick. Worth the extra buck. I definitely recommend it! If you are apprehensive about buying this because of the color, just go for it!
I use this product in corrective yellow, it is my go to everyday must have. I put it under my eyes and use it to highlight and contour my nose. It even provide excellent blemish coverage. I use studio hd powder in corrective yellow to set and get a beautiful finish.
Covers all those lil imperfections, all in a handy case instead of those clumsy sticks that concealers usually come in. Just open the case, dab some concealer on your finger and apply!
Works just like the stick but it's so much softer and easier to apply & doesn't break. yellowish color cover so much better.
This review is for the Yellow concealer. To be honest, I didn't like this on first impression, largely because the texture -is- a little stiff and draggy. The color worked well for my under-eye purple on cool olive skin (moderate purple - I don't know if this would cover heavy purple), though, and I figured out how to optimize it in my routine. I moisturize with a blend of facial oil (which also serves as the perfect primer for my mineral foundation) and found that applying this concealer over the oil when the oil is just not quite absorbed makes blending worlds easier. Mineral foundation over the top. I have not experienced any creasing using this method. I dinged a star for the draggy texture, and for the cheap packaging. But the price really can 't be beat.
I just got this tonight and it looks so much darker on the website. 1st pic - elf yellow 2nd - my normal yellow concealor
I bought both the light and medium version of this concealer about a month ago. Being a teen, I have acne prone skin but I only have the occasional pimple. I bought these in two colors because I wasn't sure what color would best match. The light one was better than the medium. Both colors are very orange though and dry cakey, and it seems that the most orange one (medium) has been taken off the website. I was using the light one sparingly around my nose and chin to cover up a little redness until I got two huge and deep pimples in both areas. This can be the only culprit. If you are a teen or acne prone especially, don't use this concealer, save up and buy a quality concealer that won't damage your skin.
