Have only used this once. So far my itchy scalp has improved.
T/Sal Build-up Control shampoo works great for my oily scalp. I use once/week alternating with Neutrogena Anti-Residue Clarifying Shampoo once/week and have found the combination to help keep flakes away. Make sure to keep T/Sal from getting into eyes-it's active ingredient will irritate :)
Very good help to get rid of my dandruff fragrance free recommend only using a little bit of a time to take a shower to wash your hair just so like it doesn't like overdose your scalp but overall very good dermatologist recommended 4.5 fluid ounces. You may feel a little tangled at first when it first goes on your head, but after you rinse it out, it gets rid of that little tingly sensation.
Theres no strong fragrance which i really enjoy, and it really helps with dandruff and oils on the scalp. It feels very nice when its being scrubbed into your scalp, the product has never leaked from the packaging, and overall its an amazing product for its price.
The product clarifies the scalp (to help with my scalp psoriasis). I like the tingly sensation I feel when I let it sit. The fact that this is fragrance free is a bonus!
Type 4, shoulder length hair. Greatly reduces my build up especially after protective styles. I only put it on the areas my dermatitis predominates, and it does not dry out those areas.

This shampoo will help your scalp without stripping your hair. Other products I've tried for the scalp, including other Neutrogena products, will work on the scalp but leave your hair dry. Tsal has been hard to find lately and there's rumors it's not going to be produced anymore but I sure hope that's not the case because I haven't been able to find another shampoo that works on my scalp AND leaves my hair remaining beautiful and hydrated
Was looking for a shampoo to help detox and remove flakes. The shampoo didn't lie. It really works. Results after one wash. No flakes. Massaged product in really well for a few minutes and the scalp has no odor. I feel like it really helped detox the scalp. The shampoo has no scent. It's not super thick and doesn't feel greasy. It's pleasant. The scalp feels clean. No itching. Other shampoos make the scalp itch. Finally found something that's nice for the scalp, works without leaving it itchy. Thank you, Neutrogena.
My hair had quit growing. Not even an inch. My scalp had issues I had never been able to get under control. Imagine never getting to have a new hair style. Never having “a day at the spa” and feeling like a new you. T/Sal changed that for me. My hair began to grow and now I actually have long hair. I even get compliments on the health of my hair! I don't care for the smell of this shampoo. I have to make sure it is washed off of my skin with a good smelling soap after rinsing. But I HAVE HAIR! Finally! I am so thankful.
