I've been suffering from Seborrheic Dermatitis for 8 years. I've seen numerous Dermatologists and have been prescribed various medicated shampoos. I have not found much relief until I began using this product. I've been using it for about 2 weeks and have experienced 98% relief. The itch and flakes are just about gone. I'm thrilled, and highly recommend this product!
This product is the best and gives me the longest lasting relief for my scalp. I deal with a scalp that burns and itches so bad and I suffer with terrible discomfort. I also get "scabs" on my scalp along with flakes and scales. It was so soothing and the relief lasts! I dont wash my hair every day and am still experimenting with the amount of time I can comfortably go in between washes with this shampoo. But since Ive began using this shampoo, I have not experienced one day of suffering from a burning, itching scalp. No scabs, scaling, or flakes.
I just got the T Gel yesterday and had my first shampoo this morning. My head felt great after the shampoo and it took very little to suds up in my slightly hard water. I don't know the long term effect but so far,five hours later My head does not itch and my scalp feels comfortable.
My scalp has itched badly for as long as I can remember (although I've never suffered from dry, scaly skin or dandruff). After trying too many other products (OTC and RX) and home remedies to mention, this finally worked. I have yo use it every couple of days or so, but in-between I have absolutely no itching. However, none of the Neutrogena carriers in my area stock this particlular product, and it's inconvenient and costly to order it directly.
I was getting ready to make an appointment with a skin doctor because my dandruff was awful and the itch was unbearable when I came across your website. Because I love Neutrogena products and only use Neutrogena makeup I decided to give the therapeutic shampoo a try. It came within a couple of days and as soon as I shampooed the itch was gone. I have used it three times and my dandruff is about 60% improved! I am going to order more and am hoping the cream rinse is available. Thank you for an amazing product!
I bought the Neutrogena Stubbon Itch Shampoo a couple of weeks ago. I was having trouble finding it at any of the local markets, so I ordered it direct from the company. This shampoo works wonders on my itchy scalp. As bad as my condition had gotten, it will take several shampoos to get it back to normal, but it is worth every penny I paid for it, which was not very much. I would recommend this product to anyone who has an itchy scalp that shampoo's like Head and Shoulders or Selsum Blue could not help.
I had use t gel in 1993.My hair was long.I was having a difficult time brushing the top of my head because my hair bangs came down over my nose.My dandruff began building up.My hair brush was not a hair detangler brush.Tgel had remove all the dandruff.This is an excellent product.I would recommed this to anyone.
Please, please please never stop making this shampoo! It's the only thing that controls my psoriasis itchy scalp. I'd be miserable without it. I've noticed it's gotten harder to find a store in my area that carries it. Had to order on line. Wish it didn't take two full weeks to receive.
I was having a horrible time with the nape area of my scalp. Itchy, dry patches, redness, soreness, etc. I had been dealing with this problem since February 2014. Washing often didn't help, dandruff shampoos, hot oil treatments, oiling scalp - nothing was helping. I read the review for this product and finally tried it last Saturday - I applied it only in the problem area. I applied as directed, let it sit for about 8 minutes, rinsed, and repeated. Continued with my normal wash routine, now it's 5 days later, no itch, no dry patches, no flakes. I was shocked and pleased. Because it says use twice a week, my hair and scalp was feeling too good to mess with. I will use it weekly for a while. Then reduce usage to maybe 2x a month to keep things under control. Finally a product that does what it says. I am truly happy and pleased with the results.
I purchased this as it was recommended by your customer service, followed the directions explicitly, used it 2 times with 2 days in between and it did the opposite of what it was supposed to do. Scalp itch increased 100% and finally had to use Baby Shampoo to get it to stop. A very disappointing experience!!
