I'll admit I was hesitant to try this blow dryer, specifically the diffuser attachment, because I already had a diffuser I loved but my dryer was done. I had heard great things about Shark so I decided to take a chance and I'm so glad I did. The diffuser is nice and big which is exactly what I want in a diffuser. This dryer has cut my dry time in half and give me bounds defines curls. I haven't dove into the other attachment as I wear my hair natural 99% of the time but I'm sure I'll test them out soon.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a bit obsessed with this Shark HyperAir hair dryer. From the moment I unboxed this I was falling in love. The box has everything neatly laid out so it's easy to see and find paired with info cards and guides simply explaining what each piece does and how it should be use with your hair and look you are trying to achieve. I have long and thick curly hair so I was all about the diffuser. The IQ Curl Defining Diffuser has a deep bowl that providing fast, even drying from root to tip with its amazing extendable prongs. There is a simple "switch" that allows you to extend and retract the prongs depending on what you're trying to do - reach your roots or target your ends. The setting for using this was easy to identify - air 1, heat 1. The hair dryer's IQ technology combines high velocity heated air and ionized air for extra-fast drying with no heat damage. I have thick, long, curly hair that easily retains heat and often find myself getting burned by my own hair when drying it, but that didn't happen with this hair dryer! I was left with light, shiny, no-frizz curls. One other really neat feature of this this HyperAir hair dryer is the "Cool Shot" button that helps close your hair cuticles and smooth the hair at the end of drying it for a smooth frizz-less finish. From a functional perspective the cord of the Shark HyperAir hair dryer is great. It's a nice length that is thick and sturdy featuring productive coil around the base of the hair dryer that helps avoid it from breaking with regular use. I really appreciated this detail - it was not overlooked by me! All-in-all it's hard to find something bad to say about this. I am pleasantly surprise with the quality of this product and have already found myself bragging to my friends and sister about it. I recommend giving it a try!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow. I have always used cheap drugstore hair dryers and now my eyes have been opened. This thing is amazing. My daughter is terrified of getting her hair dried and besides the high pitched sound when first turning this on , she sat there and didn't complain at all. It dried her hair super quickly too. It doesn't get too hot so it doesn't feel like it's burning her head. She has some natural curl to her hair so I tried the curl diffuser first and I can see where it would work on someone with super curly hair but the brush attachment worked much better on her hair and made it super straight. I also use the brush attachment on my own hair and the difference it has made on any hair is insane. Normally I have to do something with my hair every day but after drying it and straightening it with a hot iron once ( even tho it's mostly straight after drying ) I haven't had to do anything with my hair for 3 days. I work 3 13 hours shifts so this is what I need when I roll out of bed in mornings and not have much effort to do when comes to my hair. I recommend this to everyone! Super easy and super effective

I usually use a blow drier & then use a straightener for my wavy hair. I no longer have to use my straightener when I use this dryer with the brush attachment. My hair feels soft & not frizzy or dry after I use it. All attachments are very sturdy & well thought out. They click in place easily on the blowdryer. The controls are easy to use & the light indicators let you know the amount of heat & power you are using. The cord is heavy duty with an included Velcro storage strap. Worth every penny & well built for years of use.

My favorite thing about it are all the attachments. It came with 3 attachments : IQ 2 in 1 concentrator ( dry and shape), the IQ styling brush( dry straighten and shine) and the IQ curl defining diffuser (dry curls from root to tips). The dryer has 3 buttons on the back and one on the front. The top left button is regulating IQ air flow levels. It has 3 different levels: low, medium and high. The top right button is regulating the temperature and has 3 levels as well: low, medium and high. After inserting the attachment the IQ styler will automatically adjust to the right settings (heat and air flow) you can also adjust them manually if you want to. On the front of the dryer there is a button "cool shot" when pressed the temperature lights are off and the air that is coming out is cool. The IQ curl defining diffuser is my favorite attachment as it can dry your curls from the root without damaging them. It is shaped like a bowl and has adjustable prongs. If you have short hair, set the prongs up short and set them up long for long hair. I also like the IQ styling brush which can do a 360 degree rotation. It is very helpful as it can help you dry the back of your hair. It also has smoothing and detangling bristles. The little black cleaning tool is very helpful for the removal of hair stuck in the brush attachment.

I have shark Vacuums but I never had thought about Shark for a blow dryer for my hair. But I'm so glad I found this Shark HyperAIR! It's sleek, modern design will not disappoint. When you open the box you are given a QR code that has wonderful tips and tricks on using the blow dryer as well as styling helps. It comes with an attachment for every type of hair, straight, wavy, and curly. It comes with a two and one concentrator, a styling brush, and a curl defining diffuser. But best of all it dries really fast. This is a great blow dryer.
This is one of the best purchases I have made in years. It's so quiet compared to a regular hair dryer, and drys my hair faster. The defuser is a game changer when I want to quickly dry or make my hair wavier.
This is a great blow dryer. I mainly use the diffuser for my curls. It's fast drying and give my curls great shrinkage and bounce. The option on the diffuser to adjust the prong is pretty neat. It helps give my roots more volume. My only dislikes are it can get really hot on the high heat setting and it's bit heavy.

Hair dryer is sturdy not heavy and fits the hand perfectly. Seems to have a decent amount of power and dried my hair very quickly. Not overly loud. Didn't seem to help with frizziness overall, but I don't really mind so long as my hair is dry. The hairbrush attachment is my favorite to use.
Great blow dryer! It drys my hair fast. The highest speed is strong and can tangle my hair. I like the brush attachment. The diffuser attachment doesn't do much for my hair.
