None will survive Sir Simba, lord of the mouse murders. Here lies mouse number three.. his life was not spared - the lives are never spared.
I have two young male cats and they're on their fourth bouncy mouse. We have the original (which looks like the above photo), which is missing limbs and a brand new one, with a short string. The short stringed bouncy mouse the youngest kitten carries to bed with him like a teddy bear and walks through the house with it in his mouth. The long string ones give them both a good work-out leaping through the air. Everytime the wife and I go to a store we're on bouncy mouse alert to get them new ones. Seems like all cats love this.
I first bought this toy for my cat 4 years ago and it is by far her most favorite toy. She is on her second, which now is just a ratty body with no arms or legs. She carries it around the house, will often sleep with it and will carry it to you and meow, hoping you will play with her. I don't know why, but she loves it. And from reading other reviews, it seems like it invokes similar feelings in other cats as well. Not sure if it is a female cat thing, but I believe your cat will absolutely love this toy.
cool toy, ring came off right away though
I bought the first one of these for my cat when she was about six months old. She will be three in two months and it's still her favorite toy. Annoys me that they keep redesigning it, because I'm afraid she wont play with the new ones. But she runs around the house with it in her mouth, yowling. Chases and bats it for hours. There are probably ten of them laying around the house with random pieces missing because she plays them so hard. There is only one left with it's string and it's probably the only one that still has all its limbs....for now.
A friend bought this toy for my cat when he was a kitten and he is now 3 years old and this is literally the ONLY toy he likes. I am buying him his next one now, only bc Im scared if he loses it and they stop making it or something. Its cord is gone but still has its limbs. He carries it to bed like the other reviewers have said, he absolutely loves it! I dont know what it is about this toy but it is so cute to see my cat walking around the house with it and bring it out of his bed and carry it downstairs.
Only good things to say. My cat returns this mouse to me so I can throw for her and I've tried every other fetch toy available but this one is IT ! The other cat just goes to town playing and the his mouse gets lots of use too. Yes I bought two because they don't share :)
My kitty played with this the minute I gave it to her, until it was bedtime, aprox. 4 hours! She loves it!
My cat really enjoys playing with this one! It didn't take long before one of the feet was pulled off, but that doesn't hinder the play. I wish it had a slightly longer string, but that is the only negative.
I got this mouse for my 6 weeks kitten. Within two days of playing with it both arms fell off. I saved them to stitch them back on but I never got around to it. Instead my kitten stole the arms one day and played with them everywhere until one day he swallowed one. I was on mouse arm watch for days until he threw it up almost two weeks later. I don't know where the mouse went but the last time I saw it the elastic broke and had to be retied but it's hard to play with now. I guess you get what you paid for.
