Quick Glance: Pro's: *Amazing value *Storage space for anything and everything *Slimline and true to size *Versatile *Looks almost elegant (in black) Cons: *Clips that are used to hold up each shelf have to be matched into pairs ~requires patience and time. *For some things you'll need a board on the shelf to keep certain items stable but I found cheap glass/plastic "chopping boards" do the trick - don't bother buying special covers that are offered! The low down: I'm in a teensy apartment with a small kitchen/living room. Storage is a problem in the whole place but the kitchen was just impossible. I needed something slim-line & tall, something that holds my heavy cookware, pots & pans, soups, canned goods etc AND looks good in my apartment. I want friends to be able to chat with me while I'm cooking in the kitchen. *THIS UNIT IS PERFECT* ~ I've had a few friends round since putting it up and they all love it! It's VERY sturdy. The only reason I marked "Features" down is that the clips used on the vertical bars don't always clip together well, so I had to swap them around a bit to find which 'pairs' matched - just takes a bit of time and patience. However, if you're looking for something that will give you storage space that easily accessible and keeps things orderly...You've just found it! :)
The system is designed so the shelves slip over the posts so the bottom shelf must be installed first then the rest of the sleeves/shelves are installed upwards. Installing the first shelf can be tricky and may require some assistance since you're dealing with four individual posts. I handled it easily by myself by laying the unit on its side to install the bottom shelf. Then I stood the unit up and installed the other shelves. Total assembly time 8 -10 minutes.....mostly figuring out the spacing for the shelves. Nice quality unit.
This makes my 6th shelving unit I have purchased. I have the 72" high ones, and each one I purchase, I find an easier way to set them up. I am a rather short, older woman... and If I can manage the transport and carrying and set up of these... anyone can.
I bought this shelf to house my kitchen appliances like my deep fryer, food processor, graters, blenders, etc. It turned out more beautiful than I ever imagined. I've received lots of compliments. It's very sturdy and looks expensive. You can also place the shelving to your liking. Love it!
Really a cool product. Totally adjustable and hubby put it together with no tools. Took a long time to get here though. People at the store were a little unorganized but helpful. I would buy another one and probably will. Really sets off our NASCAR room. Perfect for diecasts and speakers and anything else you want to put on it.
This is a very useful and practical product. It is great for storage in my kitchen. Moving to a smaller place I was need of more storage in my kitchen, which is much smaller ( I had a eat in kitchen, this is a galley kitchen). I was afraid this would not look good, to industrial, but to my surprise it looks fantastic. It is strong and durable . I love it. I had my son put to together for me ( It took 15 minutes). I am very happy about the product and the price.
This shelving is sturdy, easy to assemble, and very attractive. The hardest part is getting the first shelf in place. With patience it can be done with one person, but would be faster with two. After the first shelf, though, the rest of the assembly is FAST, even for one person. And, if you want to change the spacing of the shelves, it's pretty easy to do. I chose the shelves because of the 350 lb per shelf rating (I'm using the unit to store canned goods) and they're holding very nicely. I would buy this again in the future, even though the price has gone up from the $69.97 I paid to $79.97.
They are sturdy, durable, and strong. They hold everything I need them to. They are the perfect addition to any room with storage issues. These shelves can be used for clothing, cleaning supplies, dishes, pantry space, tools, etc. The shelves are adjustable for tighter or larger fits. Although, I suggest doing it from the start, as adjustments are easy, but take more physical strength to accomplish than original set up.
I ordered two units. Both boxes had damage but the contents were alright. Somewhat confusing construction instructions but do-able. The finished product meet my expectations and I would certainly buy the shelves again. Very nice looking and sturdy. A nice touch is that the shelves have adjustable feet so leveling is easy and secure.
I purchased two of these to help organize our storage shed. These are very sturdy and I highly recommend. I gave 4 stars simply because it can be a little difficult to put together and requires 2 people. Each shelf is held in place by (4) - 2 part sleeves which have to be held in place while shelf is lowered over the four poles and pushed onto the sleeves - this can be difficult as the sleeves slide easily until they are tight with the pressure of the shelf.
