These are remarkably simple and easy to use. The cord is long enough to be routed behind a background and under substrate, while still leaving enough cord to place it in an easy-to-read spot inside our outside. The suction cups hold well as long as they're clean and wetted, and if you're crafty, you can replace the suction cup on the digital readout with a 3mm magnet using some hot glue. I prefer these for keeping an eye on basking and cool side temps at a glance, since they don't track humidity or history.
