Great product our lizard loves them only problem is they get moldy really fast so you can only use about a quarter of the can
These are nice to have on hand when we can't get live crickets for our bearded dragon.
I have a one year old male leopard gecko. I never dreamed when I bought a can of these grasshoppers, that he would actually eat them… Not only does he eat them, he loves them! And yes I've read a lot of reviews online about people who think they are smelly and gross looking and not at all good for your reptiles… Evidently smelly and gross is ambrosia To leopard geckos! I admit that some of the grasshoppers are large, But I just cut them into pieces and feed them to my gecko. They don't have a long shelf life if you just leave them in the refrigerator… But you can freeze them! I'll take out as many as I will feed him at one time. And put each feeding in a separate wrapper. I put these in the Freezer and take out one and let it thaw when I need it! I'm not saying for people to have these take the place of live foods, But they come in really handy if you run out and can't make it to your local pet shop!
My pet loves them, for the reviews complaining about mold after you open it, it says very clearly on the can you need to refrigerate after opening. Good product.
Great size to top off an order and qualify for free shipping. My bearded dragon likes them as well as other brands.
My little bird loves these. He comes a flying in when I hold the cane up to show him.
They're a nice little emergency food source or treat. The one thing is theyre absolutely huge and you'll need to cut them up. Make sure you put them in a fridge otherwise they'll go bag pretty quick.
I buy these for my chickens as a treat. They love them! But the last time I purchased the grasshoppers there was only one can left.So I bought it.When I got home and was going to open it and feed my chickens, the can was already opened, and there was white mold on top of the grasshoppers! Another shopper had opened the can and put it back on the shelf. Needless to say, I did not feed them to my chickens.
They molded after a few days
was molded when i opened it the day i bought it
