It's no secret: reptiles need sunlight in order to thrive. Fluker's Repta-Sun lighting is specifically designed to emulate the sun's natural light, giving reptiles the daily dose of full-spectrum light they require in order to stay happy, healthy critters. And we wouldn't have it any other way. For proper application, use as UVA and UVB lighting during yur reptile's day cycle only. Position bulb within 18" of your pet and allow direct exposure to your pet's skin. Remember to provide your pet with equal day and night cycles (12 hous each) to help regulate their behaviour and prevent chronic stress. NOTE: Glass top enclosures can inhibit the penetration of valuable UVB rays. For best results, Fluker recommends a screen top for your pet's enclosure. CAUTION: Do not remove or insert lamp when power is on.
