This is THE BEST on the market. Has everything you need to put weight on an skin ad l and recover.
This is a large bag and the price was good. It was the Anise flavored and it turned out my rabbit loved it. Came very quickly.
Product arrived intact and my rabbit will love it!
My bunny loves this stuff. It is great to keep on hand when your bunny isn't feeling themselves.
If you have buns, its a must have, they like flavor and if you add some banana they like it even better! If your bun is not eating well for whatever reason, great product to give them until they can see their vet!
We ordered this before adopting our guinea pigs because we read fabulous things about it. DAY TWO after adoption, we were bathing one (he's a Cuy=terrified of life) and he tried jumping out of the bath tub, breaking the two top teeth out of his mouth. Now, he's not any ol' pig, he's a 5 year old pig and considered a senior. So immediately he goes anorexic, refuse to eat or let us touch him, it was bad. Poor piggy. I whipped out Critical Care to "force feed" him which I did for a few days, then I fed him the mash in a low bowl/plate so he could eat it himself when he got hungry for another week. A year later, he is a happy, loving pig and has all of his gorgeous teeth. Using Critical Care appropriately saved his life! This is so worth it to have on hand. Every now and then we give it to the boys as a treat. They love it!
Saved our guinea pig's life after surgery. He could not eat, and force feeding this helped him maintain weight until his health returned.
I have to syringe feed him because he hates it but needs nutrients from it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Beware… never received the first order. Ordered again 2 weeks later for $10 more per bag to find it expires in a month. I feel taken advantage of. People with sick animals are desperate for this now only to be up-charged for a product that is expiring in 30 days. Typically, when receiving this from other vendors the expiration is well over a year away.
