This is my bunny's favorite chew item. It is safe for him and hard to find great things for bunny's. I highly recommend it. I do throw away the nut inside, well to a squirrel outside, but it may be safe, just not convinced of that as yet. Over protective bunny mommy.
Fun little toy for small animals, I have purchased many throughout the years of pet keeping.
First of all, the purpose of buying this was for rabbit to chew. Yes, he or she will chew and finish it in 5 minutes! My rabbits loved this, and it didnt sit in the corner of the playpen unused like other chewing toys. But if you are short on money, then don't buy it because it only last from 5-10 minutes. Rabbit will totally destroy it very quickly.
It is made of a wood that rabbits love and it helps to smooth their teeth that continually grow. My rabbit doesn't particularly care for the fruit pit that is inside of it but it is there just in case.
MY RABBIT QUICKLY TOOK IT AND DISAPPEARED IN HIS HUTCH WITH IT. CHEWED AND PLAYED WITH IT.... DIDN'T GO TO WASTE OR LAY AROUND....ONE OF THE FEW TOY TYPES HE ENJOYS AND USES UP. DEFINITELY WILL BUY MORE!
My bunny seemed to enjoy this! It did come apart within 24 hours and I noticed some of the fruit pits/nuts missing and found it in pieces in his cage! Great toy, not going to last and not very durable though. I gave this 4 stars because it's one of the only toys he will play with!
Our bunny loves playing with this chew ball. I just wish it lasted a little longer. That's just how much he loves it.
It's far too big for hamsters and mice but I gave to my cousins rabbit and it seems to enjoy it.
I have a new dwarf rabbit and I thought this would be a great first toy. Within seconds of me putting it in his cage, he was chewing on it so I felt I made a good choice. However, if you want this toy to last, do not leave in the rabbit cage overnight. This ball did not make it 24hrs. I came in this morning and the toy was decimated, my rabbit didn't even care for the nuts inside. So great toy but you'd be better off getting twigs from your own yard for your rabbit to chew on than pay $5 for a toy that lasts less than a day. Just saying.
Put this in my gerbils cage and within minutes (i'd say not even 5) it was shredded and she didn't even like the nuts.......DUMB don't waste your money.
