4 track simultaneous inputs

I already have several digital audio recorders. I use them to record lavalier mics in interviews. However, when recording a shoot, they go out of sync slightly over time and make editing job more tedious, so I decided to buy one recorder that can 4 lavalier mics at the same time. This tascam dr-60mkii is the least expensive recorder with this ability. I have briefly considered a recorder from the zoom brand. I read that the boot up time is slow, but battery life is good. Whereas tascam has quick boot time but short battery life. I decided I prefer the tascam, because I am ok powering it with a USB charger. Not all USB chargers outputs enough current to power this recorder. I tested three chargers and two work. I also tested using NiMH low discharge AA and the recorder runs for almost 3 hours. The mics I use are cheap lavalier mics for use with smartphones. They come with TRRS 3.5mm plugs and a converter to TRS 3.5mm plugs. These mics require "plug-in" power. To plug these mics into the XLR inputs, I needed to buy two RODE VXLR+ adapters. At first I didn't know how to plug two of these mics into the 3.5mm inputs so I email Tascam, but they don't know, so I ended up figuring it out myself and made a custome cable. I'm sure I can buy the cable somewhere, if only I know what this cable is called. These two mics share one input level control. The one thing that surprised me is the recorder cannot encode into mp3. It's either WAV or another format I'm unfamiliar with. But it's ok because for my purpose I can still record long enough. Another surprise is it only supports SDHC up to 32GB. Makes me wonder if this recorder was designed 10 years ago. Also, I wish the recorder can use a button battery to run the clock, so I don't have to set the clock each time I put in the batteries.
