I bought this for my two year old nephew who LOVES cooking (and stealing his mother's cookbooks) I was really surprised by how many activities were in it, mazes and such so it is more of a cook/activity book. I'm expecting his mom to have stolen the book next time I go over there making some of the very tasty sounding recipes.
This was a birthday present for my granddaughter. She loved it and her dad is excited to to help her use it. The recipes are yummy and easy for kids to follow. I recommend this children's cookbook for your beginning little chef!

Just bought this for 9year old twin grandsons who didn't already have a cookbook. Recipes are kid-friendly. Look like good family projects.
Great cookbook for kids with the basic recipes that kids like. It has definitions and explanations for kitchen tools and terms. On the negative side, the book does not have pictures of the finished dish. Perhaps they don't want the kids to compare their food item to a perfect picture?
My daughter has made one thing out of it so far and it was good. I wish it had some pictures in it.

I bought this on line if I had been able to look at the book in person I would not have purchased it. It's more of a game and puzzle book
