The carpet near the entrance was almost black - I was thinking I had to go for professional carpet cleaning. One of my friends recommended that carpet cleaner foams could be used. Tried this one - ordered over walmart.com to get two at a discounted price. It's a fantastic product - after applying as soon as I brushed it all stains were gone - simply vanished. Once it dried out, I did vacuum it with a regular vacuum cleaner. It's shining as if the carpets are brand new one. Only blemish is the quantity is really less. Will use the 2nd one after a while - super product - will buy again.
These cans snap into a big brush that applies the foam when you pull on the trigger. If you have carpet stains on light-colored carpet Resolve will either remove them forever or for many months at a time. This application system with foam will initially get your carpet as clean as a pro, but for long-term results you should follow up with a water-only vacuum to remove any more soil and the Resolve itself after it has dried and finished its mild bleaching-like activity. Otherwise the presence of the soap can actually attract dirt. If you've got heavy stains, one of these cans may only cover about 25 square feet, but it's well worth the results.
Resolve is far and away the best all purpose spot cleaner on the market. We have 3 Mini Schnauzers who are constantly challenging us with new messes to clean up.
For carpet stains I first spray with Spray and Wash. Then I go over them with the Resolve scrub brush. Voilá! Stain gone!
Having two German Shepherds that haven't learned to wipe their feet, the Resolve High Traffic Carpet Foam is a must have for our area rug. I spray, Swiffer the hard wood floors, then come back to vacuum the rug and voila, fresh and clean area rug. Having allergies, there is a scent but not overwhelming for me.
It works very well. even without a vacuum! My carpet looks much cleaner...
When I was searching for a product to use, I was skeptical about how well it would work. I took an after picture as you can see. Let me assure you, this rug was dirty. It was so dirty I had taken it up, rolled it and put it in the closet. One of the reviews I read said"I wasn't expecting much". I was not expecting much either but I gave it a try. It worked wonders on this rug which I have had for 4 years and never cleaned it. I vacuumed, but no cleaning. The product suggests using it with the brush applicator system, but I already had a "deck" brush. I will state that I think the scrubbing part is critical. You can try just spraying and let dry but I doubt you will get the results that I got. I highly recommend this product and use it as directed.
First of all you get a giant can for $4.97. I have used Resolve many times as I like the spray foam cleaners, but this time, this can sprays from the TOP and not the side which is easy to forget so i have sprayed upwards several times Instead of pointing down to the carpet. i usually spray and walk away and let it do its job. . This time it made me cough a bit after walking away. Next time i use it, i will wear a mask. I will buy again when i need more.
Lid and spray nozzle was broken when delivered
needed to cancel my order, called and man would not help me, was told i would have to cancel...cannot find where to cancel on phone...not happy at all!!!
