I love Febreze products and the new Set & Refresh is just as wonderful. I have children and five pets. I always worry about things getting knocked over, broken or spilled. I have no worried with the Set & Fresh because its safe to use. Nothing will happen if it gets knocked over. I love that its portable so I can move them from room to room to mix up the scents a bit. After a while your nose gets used to scents. If you have more then one Set & Refresh in a different scent you can mix them up a bit so that you do not get used to just one scent.
When I received the Febreze Set & Refresh in Linen & Sky, I took it out of the package and put it 'together'. It was easy and simple. I placed it in my restroom because of the small space. The smell is clean and fresh and fills the entire room(I also placed it in my living room to see if this little piece of magic can smell a larger room-It Does!). What I love is that I don't have to worry about batteries, walking by it , blowing it out or forgetting to unplug it! The one draw-back is that there are no refills, you have to buy a new one everytime.
We received the Febreze Set & Refresh and found it to work great at eliminating odors, especially in my bathroom. A lot of the other fresheners we've used just covered up the smell but disappeared quickly. Febreze actually took the smell away. Love it!
I love the scent of Set & Refresh Meadows and Rain, and have 4 diffusers on the go in my home all the time. I do however think it would be a brilliant idea to produce a refill for these diffusers. The plastic holders are very sturdy and could most certainly be used more than once. It seems a shame to throw them away every time I need to renew my diffusers (I do recycle !). If I were able to buy refills, I would give the product 5 stars all round [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I was looking for an air freshener for my bathroom when I was approached by Febreze to review the new Set & Refresh air freshener. I immediately agreed and couldn't wait for it to arrive. The Set & Refresh is perfect for my bathroom! It sits comfortably on my window sill and doesn't take up valuable counter space or an electrical outlet. I am not usually a fan of linen scents but The Set & Refresh linen scent is very clean and light and perfect in my small bathroom.
I find that I have to agree with most of the others who have reviewed this product the lack of refills prevents if from being a great product. Your packaging says to "replace your cone" and this would be a great way of doing just that, if you made refills. Without refills it is less expensive to buy a generic name cone and throw it away than to buy this one. Please start marketing refills.
Bought two and the instructions are not clear at all. Took to much off on the first one and not enough on the 2nd one. Do you take it out of the plastic it is in with the cardboard backing? If so you need to cut it out. Then do you take off the foil on the back? Not enough instructions on package OR on your web page.Something that should be so easy is not Other wise the smell is amazing. I just hope it doesn't leak out all over my counter.
I got one of these as a sample. I was excited to try it out. After having problems opening the package, I came to this site to see if I was just crazy. I see now that I'm not. I had to use scissors to get through that tough plastic wrapping which nicked the foil and now the oil is all over the place, including my hands. No way to put it in the until now. I will just be sitting the open package in my room somewhere for the scent to get out.
I love Febreze products, but not this one! Like others have said, the instructions are inadequate and it was very difficult to get the cartridge out of the packaging without spilling or ripping it, and there's also a small plastic thing in there which had no obvious purpose. I did poke a hole in the cartridge by accident and now my hand and entire house smells like a laundry sheet, it is overpowering. Please change the packaging somehow!
I love the concept of this item. It smells amazing and last a very long time and you can smell it well when I enter the room I have my one in. I was planning on buying one or two for each room, BUT.......THERE ARE NO REFILLS!!!! I'm not going to waste my money on a product with no refills. I'm not going to buy ten and continue to spend the full amount for the hole product. What a waste. I will not buy anymore starter kits UNTIL refills are availible, because if I buy more starter kits, find out you never entend to make refills available, I, as a committed recycler, would fill guilty to waste my money on a product that would increase waste in our landfills. Once you make refills available...I will buy a dozen of these and recommend it to everyone.
