This item works great, I did one coat, waited 24 hours and wore them while washing my car and they still got pretty wet. I applied a second coat and waited 24 hours again and it works a lot better! Canvas shoes need 2 applications!

Bought this to use on my new shoes , after watching videos .. My only regret was not buying more ... Wish they carried it in stores , because if you have to get it by shipping , it is outrageously long . 14 days is to long for shipping , but worth the wait . I guess
This stuff is the best! I got it last year for my Bearpaw boots. Now this year they come pre-treated with "Never Wet"! The only down side to "Never Wet for boots and shoes" is that you have to buy it online. I think for that reason alot of people go to the store looking for it and the only one available to buy at stores is the industrial pack with two aerosol cans. This is NOT, I repeat, This is NOT for shoes or boots! That's why they ruin your shoes or boots and leaves a chalky film. Hopefully we will see this version in stores soon so this mistake will not happen any more.
It appears to be as advertised. Has some initial odor, so I let them sit outside for a few hours.

I've used this product on several pair of boots and shoe's, when they say "Never-Wet" they mean it. Snow, water, mud, etc. just won't stick. Or soak through to your socks. And if your shoe's and boots don't get soaked, they will last longer. Have no fear, this product Really Works!!! Well worth the price.
I bought the NeverWet Boot & Shoe Water Repellent, with high hopes of waterproofing some of my boots for the rainy season. I waited for just the right environment to use the product (warm day, not windy, low humidity, etc.), to ensure the best results. However, when I used the spray, as directed, on my brand new leather boots, which were well over $200, they were left with a chalky haze, once dry!! My boots are ruined and I can't afford to buy new ones!! I am really not happy with this product!
