I have arthritis and a 1yr old and my knees hurt each time I gave the baby a bath and now they feel much better. I have only owned it a couple of weeks so that is why I can't say that it is durable. But it is easy to set up and works great.
The usefulness of this kind of product is GREAT! But... this particular one was very flimsy. I was expecting the cushion to be thicker. You're basically paying for some foam. NOT THAT I wouldn't recommend it anyway lol. I should of gone with the other brand that had a kind of step stool... "Safety 1st Tubside Kneeler and Step Stool" is the exact name- OH WELL you live and learn.
This is nothing more than a 1/2 inch thick piece of styrofoam. I have awful knee problems so I was hoping that this would make bath time with baby a little easier.....I would have gotten just as much support, if not more, with a football stadium seat cushion or a big fluffy towel folded up.
For the money it servers the purpose. When I opened the box my imediate reaction was "this is going back". That night was bath night so I pulled it out and was pleasantly surprised that it did indeed cushion the knees and elbows. No more readjusting as your leaning over the tub to save your body from bruises. If you are rough with sliding the tub portion on, how it could break the foam seam apart on each side of the tub. You would have to purposely step on it or be pretty rough though. For the money it is a deal but is not the most glamorous set of tub pads around. I did some online research and these are by far the least expensive. If you need it to look quailty and high end....this is not the product for you.
I received this today and was so excited to have it...until I opened the box. I was so dissappointed it was not what I expected it looks very cheap and looks like it would fall apart easy if my children got ahold of it. Not worth it at all.
This product is a great idea but it didn't fit our tub. We have a sliding glass shower door. The part of this product that fits over the tub is a bad design for this type of tub. Apparently, the designers did not take into account the ridge of the sliding glass door on the tub. The part that fits over the tub keeps slipping on the ridge so you are constantly having to readjust it. For a tub with just a shower curtain this product would fit fine.
This product is nothing more than a slippery piece of thin foam. Your elbows will slide off the pad with one drop a water on it. It also isn't thick enough to help your knees much. I would have returned it but my daughter bit a plug out of it as soon as we got it out of the box.
