I recently perchased this set for my bathroom in my new house. I was going for a red and black, sort of gothic theme. As is noted in the reviews before, the colours are a little different in the picture than in real life. Instead of A Cool, Bold Gothic look, I got a Warm Chocolate & Cherry look. I still love it. And the best part of all: THE RUG IS BABY SOFT! Also, the set just happens to match perfectly a left over can of red paint I have, and a set of red towels. They are a cross between a brick and black cherry red. Cool, cool, cool!
I love this shower curtain! The material is quite durable and the pattern/design is gorgeous. It really livened up my bathroom and made it look so much more elegant. The rug is amazingly plush and soft for the feet. The only critique is that mine was not as red as the photo indicated. It was more of a russet red-orange color. But I like it more that way so I am greatly satisfied with it.
This produst was a great deal. I would highly recommend it. I would definatly wait to get it in before you start buying acessories and such. I bought my towels before I got this product in and the rug was 2 shades of red instead of like the picture. And the pattern in the shower curtain is lighter shades of brown not gold. I bought red and gold towels and had to exchange cause that was to much red and no gold. Overall I am satified with this product now that I have the right accesories to go with it.
For anyone who likes a "Victorian" theme, this showercurtain and rug set is BEAUTIFUL! And don't think that the rug is the thin little skimpy kind! The rug is plush and rich and I would say it weighs about 3 lbs. by itself! It's hard to see in the picture but the curtain color transitions quite nicely from light to dark! LOVE IT, IT MATCHES MY BATHROOM PERFECTLY!
I love the colors of this curtain. It goes well with my decor. The colors are not as dark as it seems on the picture but looks better in person. The rug that came with it is plush but I wish there were a rubber backing so that it doesn't slide on the bathroom floor. Besides that it was a fantastic purchase!
This product is very pretty and durable. The colors of all of the accessories matched perfect. I would reccommend these if you like red and gold for your bathroom. It truly looks good!
