I was pleasantly surprised to find the oil rubbed bronze shower curtain rod on line at walmart.com through site to store. When I picked it up from the store (a real savings on shipping and handling) and brought it home I was very pleased with the bronze tone of the rod. I immediately went into the bathroom and hung up my shower curtain. Now my guest bathroom is complete!
This is just lovely! I bought it to replace an ugly old stainless steel shower rod. This is just beautiful and very easy to install as well. Highly recommend it! A great upgrade to the appearance of the bathroom for just around $20. Great product!
I love this shower curtain rod! It's a perfect addition to my French country decor! I bought two of these, one for each bathroom. I also bought the matching shower curtain rings (for one bathroom), towel bars and toilet paper stand holder. The rods are so pretty and the quality is very good. They were very easy to put up and I've had no problem with them. They have been up for almost a month now, and the metal has not become scratched from the curtain rings, nor have the rods loosened or fallen. The actual color of one of the rods is a little lighter than what it appears in WalMart's on-line picture, but it's perfect for the lighter color theme in one bathroom.
This is a great shower rod. It looks great and was very easy to hang up. It took less than a minute to install. It is light weight, but does not look cheap. Very happy with this product. Great price.
I like this product. It was what I wanted. How ever, I was not happy with the bronze hook I order to go with it. They sent me the wrong product. This product was not bronze but metal. Not even close to what I order.
The rod is much lighter than it appears online. It looks bronze, but is actually almost silver. That was a bit disappointing, but it works. I looked for a long time for a tension rod this size and color, and this is the closest I got. I wouldn't go out of my way to recommend it, but it does work for it's intended purpose. :)
I got this product for about 8 bucks and it looks great. Great style, easy to mount and sturdy. Only complaint is that the product is lighter than what it appears online and on the box, so if you're looking for a darker oil rubbed bronze finish you might want to look at a different model. Even though the color is lighter than what I had originally planned, it still fits the new bathroom decor! I'm extremely happy with this purchase.
Very disappointed in the color. The color of the rod is not as pictured, it is much lighter and does not come close to being oil rubbed bronze in color.
Nowhere on the packaging does the maker tell one how to get the curtain onto the rod. The only instruction is to unscrew it for fit. When unscrewed completely to put the curtain on the rod, reassembly was impossible. It went back to the store and we got a refund.
Great value if you don't care that it is not the colour it claims to be, nor if you care it's not half as pretty as pictured. Also, at the other end of the rod, there's quite a gap between the finial and the rod - yes, I am aware all of them have this gap but it does not even have a plastic o-ring (of sorts) to push into the gap so it doesn't look so cheap. It is going back!
