Luckly I did not have to install this, so I can't comment on install. But it looks so good in my bathroom. Gives you so much more room in the shower. I just read one of the reviews where they said it rusted. I hope mine don't, because I would hate to replace it again.
I origianlly purchased this product in the walmart store. There were 3 in stock (or I thought). I bought one and loved it, so I went back to buy another one and they were gone. I went online and it said on-line only. I'm not sure why they were in the store...but I have to buy my other one online. The color is beautiful and matches perfectly. Easy to assemble. It gives your shower so much more room.
Used this rod to screen an outside TV - worked excellent. The rod can be mounted either flat to the wall or used as in most shower cases in between 2 facing walls. Quality is excellent & easy enough to install.
Bought one of these curved rods for one bathroom. It gave so much extra room, I bought one for the other bathroom. I looked several times in the store first, but Wal-Mart didn't always have this on the shelf, so I found it easier to order online through Site-to-Store, then I knew it would be available.
This shower curtain rod is a must have. It is great to be able to take a shower without having to fight off the shower curtain. It was very easy to install and looks great.
This product almost got 5 stars if it hadn't been for the cheap parts that came with it. Upon installing, the screw head came clear off! The screws were too long (which I can't figure why they thought screws that long were needed). I had to use my own wall anchor and screws. Other than that, I love the extra room this gives me!
I have just finished installing this and haven'y used it yet BUT..... it was such a pain to install!!! A 30 minute project took 2 hours! The screw sleeves were brittle and cracked when trying to gently tap into the wall. Off to the hardware store for new ones. Then the shower rod holes did NOT match the holes and no matter how they were turned, switched, moved or jiggled they did not line up so they had to be drilled out to match the bracket holes. I read another review that said it was rusting after only one year and I sincerely hope it lasts longer than that because I can't bear to think of installing another one. HIRE A HANDYMAN!!!
This product is awful! Ive only had it for less than a year and it is rusting! What kinda shower rod rusts, its in the bathroom near water!
Two major problems with this product. #1 the directions ask you to use 5 mm drill bit. In the USA it is not easy/impossible to find metric drill bits. In tile "close enough" does not work as it might in drywall or wood. #2 once we finally got the holes drilled into the tile & the rod mostly assembled, we found that the small screws used to secure the rod to the mounted holder did not quite fit resulting in wiggly shower rod. After reading other reviews about rust problems I am glad we just went to Lowes and spent $36 on a Moen curved rod.
We installed this rod a little over 2 months ago. It is already rusted and looks horrible.
