Started catching moths within 5 minutes of setting up the trap. Buying more to get rid of these hard to rid of pests.
I've been battling those pesky grain moths for years! They seem to somehow find their way in from outside every year. I've taken to freezing everything with grain in it when I first bring it into the house, and then storing things like flour and cereal in my oven because it is the only place in the kitchen that is airtight. Don't put the traps into your pantry because that will DRAW MOTHS INTO IT AND THEN THEY GET INTO YOUR FOOD. INSTEAD, PUT THEM IN A HIGH PLACE AWAY FROM GRAINS LIKE ON TOP OF THE REFRIGERATOR OR ON A WINDOW SILL BECAUSE THEY ARE DRAWN TO LIGHT. I placed two traps on top of my refrigerator and turned on the light and within half an hour, I saw the pesky moth I had been chasing for several days flying loop dee loops like it was dancing or performing a mating ritual before it dove into the trap and was gone.
Easy to put together and it worked well. I have used this product twice. I have put the starches in containers, but there must be something that isn't because I have have them. No fault to the traps, though.
Ridiculous cost for a piece of cardboard with a very sticky surface and a tiny little square of "bait" which attracts absolutely nothing. I find more moths on the surface of any dish of water than caught in this trap. Even if I place the trap next to a dish of water, there are still more moths in the water than the trap.
