I bought this 3 weeks ago and I love it. I was running out of space in our fridge's freezer since I started making food for my 13 month old and freezing it. It's very roomy for a small freezer and I like the basket and raised ledge in the freezer
I purchased this freezer to help me quickly freeze raspberries, of which I gather approximately two quarts per day. I kept it in my kitchen July through September, which made it all very efficient. It has quite the repertoire of operational sounds, but it never seemed to raise my electric bill. I would make this purchase all over again.
I bought this freezer a month and like the other Danby freezers and products I have bought this one is just a great as the others.
We have only had the freezer a few weeks. It's running well, it does gurgle so I don't believe we'd ever keep it where we could hear it from our bedroom. My Hubs has to keep ice packs cold for joints and some physical issues, so it is opened often. So far it has not affected the temp. It was dropped off in front of our home and we easily carried it down stairs and indoors. We are well pleased!
I need a small freezer to help with storing a few deer from a great hunting season. It also enabled me to buy a half of a pig this year. At first I thought for the price I should avoid it. But it isover a year since I got it. It keeps things well frozen and is very quiet running I do not hear it at all. The onlu downfall is the indicator light by the thermostat controll flickered for about a month and eventualy burned out. Other than that it is a great freezer.
We just purchased freezer about 3 or 4 weeks ago it is great and even has wheels for easy access for cleaning behind and beneath it ! The service we received from the online ordering was remarkable ! The freezer arrived 1 day before it was supposed to and was here before 9:00 AM and the delivery guy from Purolater just brought the 80lb freezer up by himself as we live in an apartment even though my husband was prepared to go and help him ! Just amazing the whole experience we are very happy with our purchase !
Great looking freezer except received damaged, I read the other reviews where people received theirs damaged too, I'm recommending the product based on the looks and size but it seems there's usually a chance that it will be damaged upon receipt based on some of the other reviews as well
Arrived quickly but dented on every side, including the corners. Two dents on one side like many others so it seems to be a thing they're doing when packaging. But UPS delivery is a mistake for items over 100lbs. Wish I could say that I recommended the item. It might be great. But I'm returning it because I'm not paying for damaged products.
Bought for my daughter when they opened it the lid had a dent and crack see photo, am trying to return replace now hopefully get a new un damaged one soon !
Damaged freezer in four places , including a puncture wound . However the box was in perfect condition . Meaning that the freezer had to be packaged that way ... how horrible ... now I wait 48 hours for a response ...
