I agree with the other reviewers on this air purifier. It does a great job and I have noticed a significant difference inside our home. We put it in the living room where my son and dog usually hang out and the air smells better.
Great product and more quiet than the first version.
I am impressed with the size, you can most definitely find a convenient place to put it anywhere in your home. It's very quiet and I am really satisfied with how it cleans the air for my toddler, my elderly aunt, my asthmatic cousin and myself, who also have underlying health conditions.
My wife has an allergy to our cats, whom we love, so we had to figure a way for us all to coexist. We put this Germguardian Air Purifier in our bedroom and now my wife can sleep through the night breathing easier, even though one cat likes to sleep on her. :-) This unit is easy to clean and replace the filters. It can be a little noisy when running, but if you like "white noise" to help you sleep, the consistent drone of the motor is great. We are considering another for the living room as well.
I purchased this item, it is still going strong after almost 4 years. Filters must be replaced every 6 months to perform effectively. Treat purchase.
My son has a similar Germ Guardian purifier model that prompted me to buy this unit It is very quiet and does a great job of cleaning the air. Using this it at night I wake up in the morning with less sneezing and congestion.
Iâ€:tm:ve ordered this same model before. The prior one lasted about 3-4years before it died. I use the air purifier in my master bedroom and the air always feels fresh and cool while running it. I use the UVC light on damp nights that have potential of mold growth. It is loud on the 2nd and 3rd setting and kicks out a decent amount of air. The only negative is the high pitched noise it gives off that my ears pick up for some reason. Not enough to not use it though.
The UV can only be used with the fan. I found the fan to be noisy, even on the low setting. It does move lots of air on the high setting but it's also quite loud. Didn't seem to remove odors. Ran it all night after roasting cauliflower, could still smell it in the morning.
Quiet unit, air is fresher with unit on.
This unit didn't even work for a full year! What a joke!
