I used this to cook some pork steaks. This thing was pretty easy to put together. We used it in the house on the base just to see how everything went together. The grill itself clips right on to the base so you don't have to worry about it coming off while cooking. The size of the grill is a nice size, not too small or not too big. Pork steaks came out very tasty. Cleaning this thing is easy, but what would be handy is if it came with a little plastic forked spatula to help clean out the grooves. But other than that I love this thing. My husband said that he will probably use this more than the BBQ grill because it takes less time to get all set up. We have had our Big George Foreman Grill for well over three years and it is just now getting to a point where the surface is starting to coming off. We have really enjoyed it. It is easy to clean and cooks like they say it does. When we have guests over for grilling they always ask about it. Our apartment complex does not allow any kind of open flame for cooking on their balconies. So when we wanted an indoor/outdoor grill we looked around and found this one. It was just what we were looking for, had a stand of its own, a dome cover with vent, a large cooking area, and electric. Perfect. If you are looking for this type of grill I/We Highly recommend this one. I am thinking of retiring this one and going to get a new one. Well worth the money we spent for it.
Bought it for the 4th of July. Not a fan of fire. Bbqed two ribs. Was initially afraid that it would not fit. I cut them in half and angled them. Next time I will soak the wood chips a shorter time to allow a more smokey flavor. Otherwise the ribs were tender and yummy. Sis made a fantastic dry rub. We basted it with root beer hard soda for 4hrs on 2.75 setting.
I reviewed several grills b4 choosing this GF. Along with having the best reviews, the grill is easy to assemble, use (in or outdoors) and dismantle for cleaning. It's a smart and sleek design for small spaces. Great purchase for the money!
This grill is easy to use, you don't have to worry about having charcoal, the cooking surface is large and is wonderfull for cooking anything you want to cook. With nonstick cooking surface I don't have any problems with food sticking to it so clean-up is a breeze, just some mild soap, I like dawn and it cleans up easily. The size and the surface makes grilling vegetables fun and easy and with this cooking surface you don't have to worry about your vegetables falling thru the grill surface or into the fire like charcoal grills. I highly recommend this grill and I have already used mine numerous times and look forward to many more meals fixed on this grill.
Works great! Easy to clean and it's terrific to be able to use indoors and outdoors. Easy to assemble. Size is perfect.
Best grill ever hands down. I waited over a year to review it as well. If anyone on here says any different they're lying. The only the that's kind of hard to do is clean it but even that's not too bad. It helps you lose weight quick by cooking out the phat into the drip pan and it cooks chicken to perfection. It's about waist high and fits in a corner perfectly. You can even detach it and make it a table top cooker, so basically it's a two in one. Check out this grill. You won't be disappointed.
Item is packaged very nicely, with lots of Styrofoam for protection. All pieces including recipes were positioned nicely in the box. The instructions are very simple and I was very impressed that the only tool I needed was a screw driver to ONLY attach the handle for the lid. There's an easy knob to adjust the heat and easy clean, non stick top for after cooking. I cooked hot dogs for the 1st meal just to test out, and it does take a little longer than gas grills to cook, but I like the fact the grill is indoor/outdoor. The cord to plug in could be a little longer I think, but its super easy just to plug in and heat up. The lid itself does get warm so kids do need to be careful around it obviously. Also there's an easy removable grease catcher below the lid that comes in handy if cooking indoors. Overall a great product and I would recommend! I'm disappointed of this product the George Forman 15 servings grill it came in damaged and I try to contact customer service and it sucks I couldn't get through because of “technical difficulties “ kept dropping my conversation. I was trying to see if the seller can send me a new lid and wall socket adapter as it came in damaged but difficult to communicate with seller very disappointing
