I ordered the mic, and it arrived within a week, nice unit too, I understand that I'll need to learn it a bit, but that shouldn't be a big deal.
This mic is perfect for my Nikon DSLR. Video sound quality is superb. It is easy to use and appears to have a solid build.
Recording in a large open room that normally echoes a lot this has cut down on noise and been super helpful!
The sound quality is amazing and I'm very happy with this mic! The ability to record and save audio directly from the mic is very handy! I stuck it on a mono pod and used it as a wireless boom mic for fun too! You can use the mic with your camera and record on the SD card at the same time for backup audio, which is great when you record something and mess up your camera mic settings 😄. #sweepstakes

I use this mic for my YouTube channel to get better sound and it definitely has great sound quality. From what I've heard from other youtubers, Shure is the best to use. Definitely made the best choice.
I use the VP83F microphone on a Nikon 800 for live stream/podcast and for capturing sounds of grandchildren. Excellent reach inside and out. Some wind issues on breezy days using the product out of the box. One day I'll get the windjammer for slight wind issues.
I use this mic on a Canon XA15 Video Camcorder. It gives me a lot of flexibility with my audio setup. Build quality is very good. Audio quality is so good that it picks up an electrical transformer buzzing on the other side of the room. (I really have to do something about that transformer) #Sweepstakes
