I am lovin' this comforter! I bought my set with matching sheets and throw pillows from our Walmart in West Monroe, LA and completely redecorated our master bedroom suite. The last bedding set we had was from a upscale department store, spent more that triple on that one, and the quality of this one is very comparable. As a matter of fact, this set is more comfortable. The weight of the comforter is just right, not to mention it is well made and sturdy. I just love it.
This is the one of the best comforters I have ever bought in my 35 years of married life. The quality and vibrant colors in the set are unbeliveable for the low price, I have paid almost 4 times as much for another set and this one ranks right there with that one. I bought the set PLUS the pillows, and sheets in the Wal Mart store in Manteca, Ca. I did find by accident the valances in the kitchen department. The only complaint I have is that there are not drapes, but I'm going to get a coordinating solid fabric or Penny's has a ready made drape very close to the same fabric. Either way it will work out. I'm going to get another spread as a backup so I can replace this one when it gets worn out. Yes, I love it that much! For those who have written that they wanted matching pillows but could find them, they are available. Maybe your store could order them for you. Wal Mart should have the pillows online for purchase if your store does not carry them.
I love this set! It's much nicer in person than on the screen. The red is deep and dark. Thank you to the reviewer who mentioned finding matching valances in the kitchen department! I also found them at the store in the kitchen curtains aisle. If anyone is looking for them, they are Home Trends Valances, Julia Sparrow, in Red. The package also shows pairs of tiers, but I didn't look for those. The colors are beautiful.
I have been looking for a set that has pillows that goes with it for a long time in this color! I bought my last comforter set at wal-mart 7 yrs ago and it still holds up after all these years of washing. I love this one; looks Great in my bedroon and the colors are so rich looking. I saw it online and looked for stores that had it, sending my husband 2 hrs away to purchase the set with Valances and pillows, since you can not purchase those items online. I wish wal-mart would carry more items like this in smaller towns which i live in. Thats the only issue i have driving far to buy a Good deal. With the comments I read decided to buy. All I can say about fading, if you wash any comforter, you should use Cold water on gentle cycle and hang dry, never dry in dryer! My old set still looks good after alot of washings. I would recommend this item for the price and quality..
Wow... what a great deal! I could see paying $250.00 or higher for a product of this quality at a high-end department store! I purchased a King Sized for the clearence price of $40.00. This is not a product that is listed on the web as being sold in my local store or in any store less then 100+ miles away.
This comforter set is the most beautiful, high quality set I have ever owned! I buy a new set for my bed once a spring just to change things up...but not this spring!! I will keep this one til it wears out! It is very good quality and the colors are so rich and beautiful! Would recommend it to anyone!!
Looks like I paid $300.00 for it!! Color is rich and beatiful. Comforter is large and covers well. Quality is way beyond what I paid. A great set in all!!!
I purchased this beautiful set after looking on the internet for a similar set. This bedding set is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! THE QUALITY IS THAT OF A 5 STAR!! THE COLORS ARE RICH!! Also, this is REVERSABLE!! The plaid on the dust ruffle is on the other side so you have a spring/summer and fall/winter quilt. I love it and cant be more happier with my gorgious bedroom!
I have searched for many months for a comforter set that is functional, beautiful with warm colors, and reasonably priced. The colors of this particular set are rich, warm, and inviting; looks gorgeous next to my cherry wood bedset. I love the contrasting reverse side of the comforter and the scalloped edges. Size is great, doesn't show my sheets down the mattress as some comforter sets have. I have received many compliments from family and friends on this comforter set. Thank-you.
I loved the style and color of this comforter! Just what I had been looking for and at a great price. The problem was the first time I had it dry cleaned the color faded. It doesn't even match the dust ruffle and shams anymore. I was very dissapointed! My husband runs the dry cleaners so it wasn't their mistake. It even started tearing at one of the seams. So unless you never want to have it cleaned I wouldn't choose this one.
