I bought a couple of these a few years back and loved them. So I bought them for every bed in the house; and as children went to college, got an apartment, etc, the pillows went with them. I was so hooked on them I took two to my mom's when I open the night there and my brother kept hooking my pillows. So she bought some. And then I bought replacements. And on and on. They have a life of about 6 years if used every night. The latex breaks down. So does my car and the furnace. Nothing last forever. But as long as I can buy these, I get 4 at a time, and, sooner than later, they develop legs and walk. But that's the price of the best pillow we have ever seen. I've paid a lot, lot more for pillows, but this is the best.
I had purchased the same product several years ago at a much higher price. I was very pleased to find the same quality at Walmart at a much lower price.
I was somewhat skeptical when I ordered this since my current foam pillow was very soft. I have slept on this type of pillow since I was a small boy. What a difference it made to my sore neck!! I typically sleep on either my back or side and it is great for both. I have slept on memory foam pillows and I'm not a fan but this is much better. It's definitely firmer but still soft. I would definitely buy another one.
When pricing these great American-made Simmons Beautyrest foam pillows. I found out that Walmart had the BEST price and delivery with in-store pick up, They are very comfortable and cool to sleep on. I recently purchased a third pillow for my son for his birthday. Comfort quality and value these pillows last longer than standard poly-filled and down pillows and can be easily cleaned.
I have tried other memory pillows (about 12) from many stores and this one is the best. If you are looking for a pillow that is 5 inches in height, that allows your head to sink in but not go all the way through the pillow this is it. The pillow supports the head very well. I am a combo side and back sleeper. Also, when you raise your head off the pillow it springs back very quickly. 5 stars +. Hope it really lasts 15 plus years like my last memory foam.
When you first touch his pillow it feels almost hard. On the other hand, when you lay your head on it, it's very comfortable. I was dubious as to how comfortable it would be when it first arrived, but I have to admit I like it. Just make sure you like a firm pillow if you're interested in this one.
This is a very firm foam pillow. It keeps your head in great alignment when sleeping on your side or back. It has decreased the loudness of my husbands snoring, and has reduced or eliminated the sore shoulders I used to have every morning.It would not be good for stomach sleepers.
These are very nice pillows, with a really nice soft removable cover on top of the rubber. And maybe this is a good feature, but for me these pillows are a little too high. I like my pillows to be a little more flexible so I can scrunch them under my head a little and thsre are quite firm and quite high. Maybe after use they will soften down a bit, but if you like a rubber pillow that is a little on the firm side and a little on the thick side, these should be for you. They are very comfortable to lie your head on, but I feel for me my head is a little higher off the mattress than I like. Very nice quality though and I think my comments are based on the really old and worn ones I have been using. But very nice quality.
The description said these pillows were latex but they are not. I returned them.
No one in the house will use this foam pillow. It's is so hard, and won't give. We are used to soft foam pillows that are like marsh-mellows. I didn't know this brand was so firm. We will return them as soon as I can, and go to Bed Bath and Beyond for the ones we usually get. It's a shame because the value and appearance is great. If you like a firm pillow this is yours!
