I was looking for an indoor grill as it gets cold fast in the desert when the sun goes down, and something to cook fish on that doesn't lose half the fish in the grill. This grill is perfect, just a little water in the drip tray and no smoke, temp control works very good, I have cooked shrimp, salmon and chicken with perfect results every time. Cleaning is as easy as any grill of this kind, use a little cooking spray and clean up is warm water and a sponge. Very happy. Great quality.
I love this grill. I live in a small apartment and do not have room for a big BBQ so this was my next best choice. It grills all food very evenly and clean up is a breeze. It looks great in the kitchen as well. A definite need for anyone looking for that great grilling taste without the big BBQ price.
this is a great grill! i saw this product demonstrated on a tv shopping channel and decided to get one. since walmart has it online cheaper BTW and great shipping right to your door, i didnt hesitate. this grill cooks fantastic. cleans up great. food is delicious moist and juicy. heats up quick and has plenty of grilling surface. you can prepare a large meal that will feed 4 easily! i've cooked steak, hamburgers, chicken, and fish. all turned out nicely! sometimes you just dont want to mess with a grill and charcoal. this is perfect! glass lid is a plus too! highly recommend! GET ONE!
I just used my grill for the first time and I LOVE it...well that is until it came time to clean it! Cleaning it is a pain because of the heating element and size. If you have a small sink, cleaning equals BIG mess. Getting the grilled on "stuff" was easy enough to get off because of the non-stick coating and the drip pan was super easy to clean. Other than the cleaning being tricky (large grill in small sink), the cooking was better than I expected from an indoor grill. The grill seared my steaks and cooked them to perfection without any burnt edges like you get on a gas grill (which my kids hate). Wonderfully juicy steaks, not dry like you sometimes get on a gas grill. I loved that it was rainy and cold outside and I didnt have to go back and forth, in and out of the house with a coat on and leaving my kids unattended. I cant wait to try chicken and vegetables on my new grill! I was dissapointed to find that it had no lid because the photo on walmart.com shows it with a lid, but the lid comes with a different model! I wonder if having the lid would help things cook faster? Much better than other indoor grills that dont allow the grease to fall through but only run away!
Thought I ordered the one with the glass lid but even without it I still use it about everyday
The picture shows it coming with a lid but that is a different model than was sent. Very deceiving.
The item ordered, based on a picture shown, had a glass top, which was not included in the shipment. It was also shown on the included instruction booklet in the packaging. The top was one of the features we liked when we ordered it. I have complained to DeLonghi, but have not had any response as of yet. This is why I am very leery of doing any future internet orders from Walmart.
this product took a very long time to cook a steak and did not cook thoroughly. I returned product to the store.
