This buy is absolutely worth it, it's big, very easy to comprehend the settings and Use. I cooked 3 large meals with it on the first day it arrived and I must say, I'm impressed. Came in on time and in Perfect condition. I placed the order for same day delivery.
8 Qt is enough to cook for a large family! I also use it to steam red beans in 30 minutes, very convenient!
We cook rice, sauté and made fried rice. Perfectly cooked and highly recommended
I made Chicken soup last night just by sautéing carrots, celery and onions (IN THE INSANT POT!) then adding a WHOLE chicken. It cooked in 20 minutes! So easy and only 1 pot to clean. I love this thing!
The product is great, but the shipping was delayed 5 days with no explanation! When ordered it said it would be delivered in 2 days and I needed it to make meal prep for the week and it was suppose to be here on a Friday and it was delayed until a Tuesday without any explanation to the delay! If they was going to do that I would've had it delivered to the store for pickup instead of to my house! It's just disappointing when you order something that you need by a certain day and it more than doubled on the delivery time! Unsatisfied delivery process!
I bought my 6QT Duo in May of 2019. After 1 1/2 years of light use, I noticed a rattling noise coming from inside the base when I was reassembling it after cleaning. I removed the bottom plate, and out fell a screw head that had broken off. IP's only have a 1 year manufacturing warranty, which is in itself pretty poor IMO. When I reached out, they gave me a 25% discount code for a repl base and/or entire unit. On their website, the bases for many of the standard/popular models are out of stock. Why do you think that is? How many people are there with a similar situation to mine? I'm hesitant to repurchase another because of the poor warranty coverage and suspicious optics.
Arrived with the handle broken from the 'pot' & cracked. The box was undamaged & the handle wasn;t in the box. It would appear I was sent a broken return that they just put in a new box. (I'm surprised they asked for a rating)
Item never arrived. The day it was supposed to arrive the order was cancelled by the seller with no warning or explanation. Walmart reached out to the seller on my behalf and the seller gave no response. The item is still available to order, so I know for a fact my order was not cancelled because they ran out of them. The only reason I can think that this company would cancel my order is because they did not want to honor the sale price it was listed at. It was listed for $70 cheaper than it is listed now. Do not waste your time dealing with an untrustworthy seller who does not honor the prices they have listed and does not communicate with you. Wish I could tell you how the product actually works, but I never even got to test it out. Since the item was never delivered, I cannot leave a review for the seller only able to leave a review on the product I was supposed to receive. Seller is America's E-Commerce LLC.
The received order was not as described. I ordered Instant Pot Duo 8 Qt 7-in-1. The description shows it has redesign steam release. However, the received product is the older model of lid. The return and full refund was issued and it's not as easy as other internet supplier. I'm still waiting the response from vendor.
