Very happy with my gold Tyme & Table stainless steel soup ladle I received last week. It is so pretty that it makes me want to have company over for some homemade soup. It has a little loop on the handle so you can hang it up for storage. The quality looks really good. I like that it is dishwasher safe also. Very pleased with my ladle.
Who says kitchen utensils have to be plain and boring? This rainbow-hued stainless steel ladle from the Thyme & Table collection adds color and a bit of whimsy to everyday cooking tasks. It's sturdy and solid and well-made, and I love the metal loop on the end for hanging instead of just a cutout hole. Photos don't do the rainbow colors justice. This is one you have to see, so check it out on your next shopping trip to Walmart.
This is a very pretty ladle! I've washed it a few times and the colors are still beautiful and vibrant. I've put it on the top rack of the dishwasher as suggested and it's perfectly fine! It is all metal so you don't want to leave it in a hot pot or pan as the handle will get hot as well. Over all it's very pretty and holds a good amount.
The Thyme& Table stainless steel soup ladle kitchen utensil is really well made and the rainbow finish is very attractive. It could become one of the most used utensils in our kitchen. It will be used a lot especially in the colder times of the year when we make many soups and stews. This would be a great addition to any kitchen! We used it for a pot of chili and it worked very well. I would recommend this ladle.
This ladle is a great size. It's not too big or small. The colors are beautiful! It is a decent weight and made if metal. It also has a hook so I can hang it on my utensil rack, but it would also easily fit into a drawer. The ladle is the perfect size for serving chili, stew and soups. I could see using this also to serve punch since it is so pretty I haven't washed this in dishwasher but it is super easy to just rinse off and handwash. Really a nice ladle and about a foot long so a good size! Love it!
This soup ladle is just the right size for our family! It's great to use for soup, porridge, etc. It's just the right size. The only cons I can think of is that it's not as shiny as I had thought it would be. But, that's not most important. It's a soup ladle and it works as it should. I would consider getting the silver color as well! I received this product from the Spark Reviewer program.
Getting a Gold utensil seems like a cute idea but it is very hard to keep it looking clean. I have hand washed it many times but it always is left with a water mark or two that drives me nuts. I keep this hanging up so I see them. If it was in a drawer it probably wouldn't bother me. I like how big of a scoop it is for chili and special soups..and it looks cool hanging up.
I got a gold tone ladle because I thought it would look good in my warm colored kitchen. However, it looks more like a sore thumb and out of place. It has a yellow color and does not have a rich gold coloration. Unfortunately, the coloration appears to be a plating since scratches show up as silvery stainless steel. So, I don't know how long the plating will last after a year of use. The cup is a little shallow for a ladle. It looks more like a big spoon. There is a nice round handle on the upper part of the ladle with a U-shaped hook for hanging. The handle keeps a hot ladle from burning your hand. However, there is a gap that allows food to creep into the handle and it is hard to clean it out. So, you have to be a little more careful when putting the ladle in a pot of soup and then laying it down on the counter.
This is a very pretty ladle, and a nice addition to Kitchen decor. As for utility, the ladle is rather small, so it is limited. The steel material is very good quality. It should last a long time, and will probably retain its looks.
I used this for about a week and it started to rust on the handle. The quality isn't that great either as it can be bent easily. I do however like the design and maybe it'll work as a decoration in the kitchen instead.
